I hate the be the Comic Book Store Guy on this one, but on the first issue post World War Hulks, Bruce Banner removed Red Hulk's ability to absorb energy, stating he would've eventually burned out like a battery. Just FYI.
It's an analogue of that Fantastic Four team Adam Hughes drew over two issues. Spider-Man, Hulk, Wolverine and Ghost Rider.
