15 Super Hero Movies I'd Like to See Done (Or Rebooted)

  • Ray Park, who was Darth Maul in The Phantom Menace and Snake Eyes in G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra has said he's very interested in portraying the Immortal Iron Fist. And I think it could be amazing. Possibly a Heroes For Hire movie with him and Luke Cage in the distant future?

  • I heard a rumor a while back that Wesley Snipes was interested in this role... and Luke Cage... but Michael Jai White expressed interest in the role of T'Challa. He'd be great in my opinion, already having been in Spawn and The Dark Knight. He's also Jax in the Mortal Kombat webseries. So I'm sold.

  • Come on, it's a no brainer. There are only a few black Marvel Heroes out there. And several actors have expressed interest in being the Hero For Hire, including Jamie Fox, Tyrese Gibson, and Iris Elba. Elba's already been two comic book characters! (Heimdall in Thor and Roque in The Losers.)

  • I mean get it right this time. Both 2003 and 2008 were unenjoyable to me. And I'm really hoping that Mark Ruffalo does what he can in the Avengers movie. I mean, let's be honest, Downey Jr., Evans, and Hemsworth are getting all of the attention when that movie comes out.

  • No more Ben Affleck. And furthermore, I don't think anyone like Michael Clark Duncan as the Kingpin. There's a reboot on the way, it looks like, with David Slade to direct. As he's done movies like 30 Days of Night, I'm going to assume that this reboot is more gritty and Batman-like. Talk of the new Man Without Fear mainly revolves around TRON:Legacy's Garett Hedlund and the Twilight Saga's... Robert Pattinson... not sure how I feel about this.

  • He's just so damn funny! If an actual plot can be decided, then a movie for the Merc With a Mouth is absolutely a must have. Even though Robert Rodriguez isn't directing it, we've still got the same dudes who wrote Zombieland writing the script! And it's of course Rated R. No sugarcoating. Just one complaint: No Ryan Reynolds. We all learned our lesson with Green Lantern. And we'd all also like to forget X-Men Origins: Wolverine...

  • This is honestly just cause I'm such a huge fan. Come on, Marvel! If you're gonna put him in The Avengers, give him some more! His cameo in Thor was awesome, and I'm sure he'll be just as great next summer, but he's got one nice storyline! Just find someone to play Swordsman, and you're good to go.

  • He is the very first Marvel Hero. He deserves it. Sure, an entire underwater movie might be a bit expensive, but hey, you're Marvel. And I think Johnathan Mostow may do a good job with it. He of course did direct the third Terminator, but he also did the Bruce Willis film Surrogates, which wasn't popular or anything, but I enjoyed very much.

  • Again, maybe it'll cost a bit of money for all the outer space stuff and cosmic powers, but since Marvel and Disney are now buddies, I'm pretty sure they'll have plenty of dough, especially after the Avengers comes out. And Galactus better not be a cloud... a while back, it was said that Alex Proyas was to direct the Surfer's stand alone film.

  • A few items held in Odin's Vault in Thor hint at this upcoming flick. It's not going to be animated by Pixar, as previously thought, which is perfect to me. I feel that Doctor Strange will be a great addition to the Marvel movie universe. One that can explain things about the Marvel Universe that other heroes may not just have time to cover in theirs. (For example, no explanation of Norse and Asgardian objects on Earth in Captain America because it was already explained in Thor.) Patrick Dempsey has expressed an interest in becoming the Sorcerer Supreme, which would be nice. I loved him in Enchanted. (Hey, I like musicals.)

  • This... does not need to be made, really. It's here because it's obvious Marvel really is pushing through with it, and once it's over with, they can focus on some of the other heroes they've been neglecting for years. Edgar Wright, since 2007, has been a part of this. To be honest, I think only hardcore Avengers fans will want to go see a movie titled "Ant-Man" and unless we also get some action revolving around Wasp and Yellowjacket... my opinion is to just keep Hank Pym as a nice little cameo in The Avengers. (I'm not saying that Edgar Wright won't do an excellent job. I thoroughly enjoyed Scott Pilgrim vs. The World and Iron Man 2.)

  • This is a movie that has potential. The very thought is so... ballsy. Now, let's be honest: female superhero movies are not successful. No Catwoman has ever been very good at all, and to be honest, I don't have high hopes for our new Selina Kyle, Anne Hathaway. Also, Wonder Woman's TV show just got cancelled. But something about a She-Hulk movie just feels like it could go absolutely right. Wait... wait, what? Who's rumored to play her? Megan Fox? Son of a... well, never mind, guys. Looks like it'll just suck if it happens. Of course, it is only a rumor. And Nicholas Cage said he'd like Eva Mendes to portray She-Hulk... now I don't see any issues with that, to be honest. Looks like a good Hulk movie might happen.

  • This one's a longshot. In fact, I'm not even sure if the movie discussed here is indeed Marvel's version of Hercules. But rumor has is Brett Ratner wanted to do the Conan movie, but didn't get the job. He also wanted to do a film adaptation of God of War (sweet), but I don't think Kratos is having a film very very soon. It could happen. Recent successes in that genre include the new Prince of Persia and Clash of the Titans. So hey. Maybe.

  • Okay, it's a real longshot, too. But with Spidey getting a reboot, who's to say there ain't room for another webslinging hero? Something that's actually interesting is that Zac Efron expressed an interest in playing the original Wallcrawler after Mcquire was out. His girlfriend (I think?) Vanessa Hudgens expressed an interest in portraying Spider-Woman onscreen. Now, I know she's got three High School Musicals looming over her, but I found her to be very good in Sucker Punch. So I'm saying this one's a maybe.
