Ah, yeah I actually wasn't a superman fan before either. However, this new Superman is sooooo much better than the old one. 3.99 price for DC means its like 40 pages long with ad's instead of 32 with ad's.

Yeah, Bruce is actually progressing XD

@Roldan: I read Justice League International #2 I can tell you that its a big improvement from the first issue. More interesting this time around, though still not the best. It got me curious to keep reading though.

I would agree, Booster really getting awesome and some of the characters like August General are becoming enjoyable though i do hope the girls get to do more.

Yeah, everybody is becoming more enjoyable. You're right that August General and Red Rocket (I think thats his name) are becoming more enjoyable too. I hope the girls get more attention too. I think they will. I think it's interesting that many of the comics are now heading towards the alien domain as they all seem to be arriving on Earth within the next issues.

@EnSabahNurX: Niceee list. Lots lots, hehe. I notice you got Superboy on your list, no Action Comics? #1 is solid. Batman and Robin #1 was great!

@Roldan: Yeah, I totally agree with you. I was surprised Jurgens wrote it since his Booster Gold run was really good. I hope it gets better.

Action, Animal, Batwing, JLI, Static, Stormwatch, Swamp Thing and maybe the new Penguin mini. Looks like it has potential and i like the covers (which i know the artist of the book made).

Wow, you're picking up JLI too. Tell me what you thought about the first issue? I was really disappointed with it. I didn't think it was all that great. I'm giving issue #2 a chance though. What did you think of Static?

@chalkshark: It looks like you only like most of Week One titles for their art. Actually, I'm realizing Week Two has much better written stories so far. Action Comics was really the best comic of Week One. I also enjoyed Animal Man, but not for the art hahaha. I thought Batwing had a solid story and writing though. JLI was my biggest disappointment.

Pretty much what he bolded, except for Batwing and Stormwatch - neither of which I caught issue one of.

If you notice, the second print for both of these titles will be released during the same week as issues #2. Batwing has solid writing, and is getting me to check out issue #2. Though, it depends on your taste. Stormwatch I like for its bigger picture of a legendary police force of Earth for hundreds of years. I would likely say the storytelling isn't as solid as Batwing.

For me personally, continuity is important to a point. I don't mind characters appearing in other titles as long as they shouldn't be somewhere else during a major event. I think continuity has to be maintain in an overall general way that makes all the stories understandable. I think DC does this well with their explanations sometimes. However, I totally dislike how Marvel seems to not care at all about continuity anymore. It's like one extreme or another. The entire new 52 universe seems to follow a specific continuity of its own while Marvel doesn't even care if their comics make any sense anymore between each other. Without a serious general contiunity, I think it totally makes reading other comics in their line totally meaning. These two companies are known for their Universes. This isn't an indie company that publishes unrelated self-contained story universes. They don't attempt to market their universe as a whole, but Marvel and DC does. So, I think Marvel is doing a big disservice to their fans and one day soon their sales will reflect this. DC is totally on the right track.

@Rabbitearsblog: Hi! Welcome! You sound awesome! I'm interested in the X-Men universe, but really new to the comics. I've watched the old 90s X-Men cartoon and seen the live action movies, well 1 and 2. So, I'm very familiar with the classic mainstream X-Men story and world, which I know is so old and reused haha. At the moment I'm reading Uncanny X-Force.

@Afro_Warrior: Hii! I'm a huge DC fan myself! Totally following the New 52! I'm somewhat new to constantly following a comic line haha. It'll be great to talk with another newer DC comic fan! I'm really following it closely :D

@horshbox: Welcome to the site!

@uniform: Welcome to ComicVine! I really love DC and the New 52!

@jadejaws: Welcome!

@Darthmat: That means they're actually doing their jobs XD Haha. Well, the real question is how long can they keep it up. I really like a lot of them too. It's hard to decide what you actually follow long-term.
