I feel that was one of the reasons the Avengers got as far as they did on Titan because they planned a surprise attack? But its harder for the X-Men without a telepath/empath (i.e. Mantis) to assist.
If Kitty can protect Magneto/Storm while they go all out & the rest distract Thanos enough...maybe but I give the majority to Thanos.

Was she not holding back against Hawkeye? Its been a while since I've seen the scene but was she going in for the kill or just a KO since he's a friend?
Teleport spam great against fodder. I don't see it working well against Steve.
IDK I almost think the reverse is true. If Nightcrawler only has to focus on one target & not an entire room - a teleport flurry may be even more effective.
