@8008s: Deadpool is an anti-hero. If you read some of the old comics you will see that deadpool is a tormented man. He isn't a total hero since many times he looks to make something for himself but he has proven many times that he's willing to go to great lengths to save those he loves. He isn't a straight up hero but he isn't a villain.

Ock in my opinion is a combinationof pete and ock. It's ock's brain that's dominant but pete gave him the urge to become a hero and quite frankly he is a hero. If liars and killers can be heroes i don't see why dp and ock can't.

@kriminal: I wouldn't say he's a villain at heart. He's a jackass. It even says so in the first page of ssm team up. He's a genius up there with Richards and he was bullied all his life. He's a bit nuts so being magalomaniac is logical. Isn't deadpool a hero? He is but he's so crazy that he sometimes harms others. Not by intention but that's just how he acts. In order to chase that shapeshiftin guy he shot a guy in the leg to escape from daredevil. Is he evil? No. Could he have escaped without harming anyone? Yes. It's each character's trademark. Pete's was feeling responsible for everyone and never caring for himself. He was a true hero sure, but it wasn't a smart way of living your life. Deadpool's is being crazy and funny. Batman's is being cold and distant. SpOck's is being smart as hell but also a jerk.

@ninjablade09: A virus is taking over the heroes and SpOck goes around the city chasing him. The Avengers notice this and they try to take him down. The misunderstanding is solved and SpOck basically proves that he's a Boss.

Nope. You are not alone. SpOck amped his game and did what Peter never wanted to do. He used his brain. After reading carnage usa i lost a bit of respect for pete. Venom was going for the kill and spidey stopped him. Why? It's not like he can reform, he's CARNAGE! Same goes for batman. He won't kill the joker due to his "moral" code or whatever and thus, the joker will kill thousands of people in the next month. SpOck is using his brain and making things easier.

Had you asked me whether i prefer Peter or Otto, Peter gets my vote 10 times outta 10. As far as who is more effective as Spider-Man, Otto takes this. For a moment forget what Otto has done in the past and focus on his actions as Spider-Man. You mustn't let your feelings cloud your judgement. Otto is more effective. But when it comes down to who IS Spider-Man, Peter was,is and always will be Spider-Man. My ideal Spider-Man would be Peter but with Otto's knowledge and sort of personality. I want to see Peter stand up for himself and prove that he should not be taken lightly. I want to see him plan a bit. I hope that when this is over Pete gains something from all this.

Well...

No Caption Provided

I like Superior Spiderman.....

I quite like it as well. I'm not Otto's biggest fan ( i like the fact that he tries to find easier ways to fight crime like creating the spiderbots and all that, but he still is a jackass) and i like good ol' Pete more but i'm enjoying the ride.

Otto sees that everything he did was wrong and tries his best to bring Pete back. He finds Pete's memories storred in his old body and stores them. He then finds a cloned body in one of the Jackall's labs and puts his brain patterns in the cloned body and puts Peter back in his own body. He asks for redeemance and Pete gives it to him. Ock, no younget either becomes a new spider hero or becomes a heroic Doc Ock.
