Congrats. You could try Immortal Iron Fist by Fraction and Aja.

@KnightRise: Spider-Man is funny and awesome, you should give him a try. By in-universe do you mean without breaking the fourth wall?

Your first? Wow! Congratulations!

You might like Deadpool as well, a very funny character with a lot of cool action and stories.

I did the exact same thing! :O

Just picked up Hawkeye 1-3 by Fraction. Any others I should look into? I like street levelers and in-universe humor. Thanks, G-Man for the reviews!

Bro.

Cable & Deadpool is a good call. But if you want something serious, try downloading the Civil War.

Congrats,man.

@GodOfMischief: @deadpoolrules: @guttridgeb: I've seen parts of Deadpool and Spider-Man comics, they seem entertaining but they're so far along I'd have trouble catching on. It took me almost a year of wikis and reviews to catch up on DC, the relaunch literally was anounced right after I bought my first comic ever and jumping on was easy. I don't even know where to start with Spider-Man.

@KnightRise: Both Deadpool and Spider-Man are getting relaunched soon so that might be your best bet

Deadpool will be relaunched soon and it looks awesome but you can buy The Amazing Spider-Man if you want.

My recommends are Scarlet Spider, Immortal Iron Fist, Venom and Back Issues of Uncanny X-Force.

That said for upcoming Marvel NOW titles, I'd suggest Thunderbolts, Captain America, Deadpool and Cable and X-Force.

  • Most Daredevil runs; Miller, Smith, Bendis, Brubaker and Waid
  • Ghost Rider by Aaron
  • Immortal Iron Fist
  • Nextwave: Agents of Hate.
  • Punisher/MAX; Ennis', Aaron's and Rucka's runs
  • X-Statix

Thats cool I've been interested in buying some marvel comics to. But, I prefer very powerful charecters

try out shadowland, a crossover with only streetlevelers

Get the Marvel app to have ALL Deadpool and Spider-Man at your fingertips

Hawkeye is a perfect series. If you like street levelers and don't mind reading back issues than I recommend Judd Winnick's Green Arrow run

Posted by TheCerealKillz

Daredevil by Waid.

Iron Fist by Fraction.

Btw, pick up Thor by Aaron. It's fantastic.

Posted by KnightRise

I've added Avenging Spider-Man, Superior Spider-Man, Thor: God of Thunder, and Scarlet Spider

I can't wait for the new Green Arrow run, I'm so excited right now.
