When they did the whole "Will Robin Die or Live" thing when the readers called in to vote for Jason dying or not, they had two comics ready to print. The one where Jason survived showed him in a hospital hooked up with life support and Bruce praying over his body. Then again since they didn't use that I don't think it counts. Pretty sure that he believes in God anyway, almost seems kind of like something he believes but just hasn't said out loud. Also, that pic from Arkham Asylum where it says "For I Have No God", that was from a page of Arkham's journal, not Batman's thoughts.

I really hope that this book stays more on Earth than the last one. Love that cover though, Rocafort did an amazing job

This Superman is obviously the Superman Frankenstein that Darkseid created. Forget how big his hands are or the fact that he looks eight feet tall, that's probably artist rendering. I know a lot of stuff gets overlooked in some issues but something like what Darkseid's created can't just be overlooked. Guarantee you that in the next issue or so this Superman's costume is going to get ripped and you'll see stiches all over his body from where he was put together.

Looks great. Took me a while to realize it was real and not a drawing, but that's just cinematic lighting for you.

What I'm thinking is that Daniel wasn't giving his all when he first started writing. I mean, he had writing and art duties for Detective and he was writing Hawkman on top of that. Let's just hope that this'll be like the first arc of Detective instead of the second and third
