@drphilter: yes that scene in Avengers... you're right! I could've done without seeing that in the trailer beforehand.

I consider "Hush" one of my favorite Batman story arcs. I slowly got back into comics around 2000 after barely following anything for much of the early/mid 90's. And I remember when this came out in 2002 -- it was the catalyst that got me back into comics....right to this day.

"Hush" didn't have an earth-shattering story I must say but it was entertaining and suspenseful. And the artwork... this was Jim Lee at the top of his game - with the talented Scott Williams making Lee's line work more tight and clean.

I'm proud to own all the single issues of the story arc, the absolute edition (which translates very well to this format by the way), and I bought the trade a couple of years ago as a road trip companion.

Wha?! Starbuck's a dude?! Seriously though I added this to my pull list weeks ago. I'm a big fan of the oldschool BG and this is a no brainer for me to get. Icing on the cake we get an incredible creative team to boot. I grew tired of Alex Ross covers a long time ago, but here I think it fits the "inconicness" (is that a word? probably not) of this series. Can't wait.

My favorite here is Robert Atkins' work. Does anyone know if he's doing any G.I. Joe comics right now?

As much as I like The Rock I don't think they'd cast him in Star Wars 7. However a minor role for him be cool though, maybe a Bounty Hunter or Sith.

I've signed up for the Battlestar Galactica series so I'm pretty stoked for that. Red Sonja has always been hit and miss for me, but I've been picking up the latest arc...pretty good so far.

I try to avoid spoilers if I can. Most sites are pretty good at warning you if you really wanna "click here" for a spoiler. So we sorta ruin it for ourselves by not showing restraint. I like to see what characters will look like in an upcoming film. An example would be a shot of Ben Kingsley as the Mandarin - I wouldn't consider that a spoiler. Or think back to when the Dark Knight was filming. Everyone couldn't wait to see what Ledger would look like as the Joker...the studio released an image, cool. The one problem I do have is trailers. I think they show too much. They don't necessarily reveal too much of the plot, but some shots I'd rather that be part of my moviegoing experience without having seen it beforehand.

Will definitely be getting this. Diggle always delivers. And Daniels art looks stunning...much more impressive than his early Batman work. This will be the year for Superman; we got a great creative team on this title, Snyder and Lee on Unchained, and of course the movie. Can't wait!

What is Latino Review's source? Just sounds like speculation to me. Plus bringing Christian Bale back, correct me if I'm wrong but doesn't his character lack what other Leaguers do have -- like knee cartilage?
