Heath Ledger

This whole thing with Ledger is really disturbing... I am gonna have a hard time sitting through that movie, knowing he died from a condition he got because of the role. The movie will be great, but I can't help but be disturbed. I heard a quote from Mel Gibson talking about how sad he was Ledger is gone. He said he was extremely talented in The Patriot, and that Hollywood lost one of the best. Coming from him that is quite a statement... and I have to agree. Heath Ledger we shall miss your face on the silver screen. :(

Got in a fight with my parents, and lost my computer. :( I'm surprised the school filter doesn't block this site... but anyway, I'm here now! everyone say, YAAYYYYYY!!! Ok not really but I'm just happy to be back. :)

3rd Times the Charm...

I took the retake to my Psychology test. I still got an F, and you wanna know why? Because THEY didn't ask me about psychopharmachology! I would have gotten a better grade just because of that, I swear! Well I guess thats the breaks. I would have rather written a twelve page essay psychoanalyzing Batman's mind. Now THAT I would have gotten an A on, but no They had to focus on humanism and shock therapy. Who is THEY anyway? Why do THEY always get to make the decisions? Why don't THEY sit down and take their OWN atrocious tests? ... oi... I wish they had third retakes... :/

The importance of watching movies

Yay! So my favorite movie is Batman Begins... I practically have the thing memorized. Today I was taking my Psychology test and the question popped up on my screen: What is psychopharmachology? And I new it why? Because the first thing that came to my mind was Dr. Crane talking to Rachel Dawes. well psychopharmachology is my primary... blah blah blah. And the Rachel says: He's drugged? And I went AhHA! I know the answer! And guess what? I did get it right:) Unfortunately I still got an F. But I can guarrantee that if Crane had said anything about reciprocal determinism, eclectic psychotherapy, or humanism, I would have gotten an A, no doubt. Well I guess you can't have everything... If anyone asks me why I failed, I'm gonna just blame it on Dr. Crane anyway.:) Now I gotta go study for the retake... oi...

The Argument

Yeah so, today in trig class, I spent the entire period debating which was better, DC or Marvel, with my friend Jimmy. Well actually this has been an ongoing debate all year. Our main argument? Me: DC is the classics. Jimmy: Marvel is the coolest. I was reading Batman Hush, and he promptly started making fun of every aspect of the book... WHO CAN DO THAT??? I mean it's HUSH for crying out loud. Anyway I have come to this conclusion as to WHY I prefer DC...

They are the most well known and developed comic book characters. While I give credit to Spiderman and maybe the Hulk, in the end they just don't quite have the same legacy as Batman, Superman, the Green Lantern. Now I'm no expert, but it seems to me as if they are more beloved by all. I saw this picture of an orphan in El Salvador wearing no other than...Dundundun... a Batman T-shirt. But besides the fame I think they just hit me right. They are either humans doing what they can, or they are from far off planets, or supernaturally enhanced. In other words; one extreme or the other. I guess what I'm trying to say is that I like to imagine the unfathomable, or believe in the most real. I can't really get into people like Spiderman... maybe its the Spider part :P I mean he just seems so self absorbed to me. Especially in the third film.

In the end I'm not really saying I dislike Marvel comics, quite the opposite (I liked Spiderman 1,2, and Fantastic Four, and Wolverine is awesome)I'm just saying that if I had to choose between the two, DC would always win... Okay I'm done babbling. :)

P.s. Jimmy blatantly said he disliked DC...arrrugh!

Heres my question: How the heck can I get Superman and Batman right next to each other on the personality quiz? I mean they're kinda polar opposites! Not that I'm complaining. :)
