@papad1992: I'll be honest, I don't know much about the newer youngsters. After The New Mutants, X-Terminators, Generation X is all gets kinda blurry to me. :) I'm assuming the essential reading is New X-Men, right?
I added Radius because I really enjoyed Seagle's Alpha Flight run and I hate to characters go to waste. Like the members of the groups I mentioned above.

I am an avid supporter of these characters! New X-Men is a must read for any X-Men fan! I love all of the New X-Men students, so full of deep character development (most of them) and equipped with original and interesting powers. Any character after them (like Hope and her Five Lights, and so on) are crappy translucent stereotypes of re-hashed characters. Moral of my rant... read New X-Men and appreciate good character development while it lasted!
