Which Marvel Characters I want to see in MvC3

If you've seen the trailer you have got to be as hype as I am to see the return of one of the best fan service games ever. All we know right now on the Marvel side is that Iron Man, Hulk and Wolverine are returning, and it's pretty much expected that major characters like Captain America and Spider-Man are going to be back. I'm wondering who they are going to use to round out the roster; in 2 there were definitely some surprising additions like Cable and Marrow. Here's some of the lesser known or never-previously-featured characters I'd like to see in there.

List items

  • He was an assist character in 1 if I'm remembering right but with a movie on the way and major moves on the Asgardian side of the Marvel Universe I wouldn't be surprised if he appears as a heavy-hitter in the game.

  • Either as Hawkeye or Ronin, Clint Barton has definitely proved to current Avengers readers that he's a serious ass-kicker. With the Heroic Age on the horizon I could imagine them leaning more to the archer persona. Who doesn't want to see a super where he just empties all his trick arrows out on Megaman at once?

  • I'm pretty sure there just gonna use Steve Rogers but it would be awesome to use a Captain America who pulls a rocket launcher out when you want him too.

  • Seems kind of obvious to put Marvel's premiere Kung Fu fighter in a fighting game. That repertoire of move Fraction put in the book reads of like a combo list from a Street Fighter manual.

  • Can't have peanut butter without the jelly. Nothing wrong with having another heavy-hitting brawler to make preteen kids online rage about getting punched across the arena.

  • Ms. Marvel blasts against Ryu's Hadoken equals sick nasty.

  • Think Blackheart but summoning C-list supervillians and demons while blasting away with Dormammu-powered handguns.

  • She'd be the bane of all offensive players but cosmic-powered shields and the ability to turn invisible for a couple seconds sounds like a pro's dream.

  • Kind of unlikely but with a big upcoming movie role and those badass whips, Mr. Vanko could be the new Omega Red.

  • Marvel's ultimate manipulator could be an amazing final boss, I mean who else could instigate another battle between these two universes. Picture a first phase against a frost giant, a second against Surtur, then the big, bad horned-helmet wearing baddie appearing himself, shifting reality as you try to land your favorite combo on him.
