The three timelines the mystery lady was talking about were the three DC imprints (Wildstorm, Vertigo, and DC Comics) and they were brought together not splintered. In the new unified universe heroes haven't been around as long as they were on New Earth.

@Gokujam: When I read this article that show was the first thing I thought of. With Steve as the Top Cop of whatever the hell SHIELD is called nowadays, he should have the authority to set up a JLU-type Watchtower setup sending active Avengers whereever they're needed.

I really hope mutants start showing up. This is supposed to be the same universe as the Wolverine and the X-Men show so just the possibility of an adaptation of Ultimate War has me excited.

Will the X-Men reunite to put an end to Greg Land's tracing paper reign of terror? He's the greatest threat to the Marvel Universe, like if Galactus, Onslaught, Thanos, and the Beyonder had some kind of cosmic orgy, Greg Land just formed out of whatever by-products they tried to flush down the toilet.

@SC: Yeah, me too. I think it's been stated in the comics that she speaks with a fake British accent even though she's from Massachusetts.

I love current Scott Summers, though I was kind of mad about the X-23 thing when I first read the issue. He's one of my favorite comic book characters because of the way he's grown over the years. He's been fighting a war for mutant rights and, more recently, their survival as a species since he was a teenager. He's seen good people die and seen what evil men are capable of, so it would only make since that by this point he would have changed from the bright-eyed (excuse the pun) teenager that believed in Xavier's dreams of hugs and kisses to a realist who knows he has to make tough decisions that not everyone will be happy about, especially after the revelations about some of Xavier's past decisions. It's not like he's a completely different character, he's still insecure and self-conscious just like when Stan Lee first created him but he's also a time-tested leader with his back against the wall most of the time; he doesn't have the luxury of getting everyone in Utopia to take a vote when a move needs to be made. He's made some cold decisions but without him sending Cable to the future with Hope, she wouldn't be alive today and without him creating X-Force, Bastion and his crew would have struck without warning. Not every reader likes it, and that's understandable, but if Marvel pulled a Parallax/ Brand New Day move on Cyke, I'd have to stop reading X-Men.

Apparently, in the movie, Shaw worked with the Nazis at the concentration camp Magneto was in as a child. When Xavier meets him as an adult, Erik is still hunting him down.

Has a new Sorcerer Supreme been chosen since Brother Voodoo died? If not, why not have Doctor Strange play a teacher/psychiatrist role training Scarlet Witch for the job? Seems like the perfect job for a nexus being like Wanda.
