There are other awesome villains, too, and most of them don't have powers.

Jimmy Corrigan: The Smartest Kid on Earth

Whoo boy.

Jimmy Corrigan: The Smartest Kid on Earth is probably the saddest thing I've ever read, period. And it's not even that it's some kind of traumatic event that sets it off, it's just this overwhelming sense of sadness that pervades the whole book.

That said, it's one of the best graphic novels ever written.
