About £70 a month which is about $110. Theres about 19 books on my monthly pull list 11 marvel 6 dc 2 image. I started collecting when the new 52 started and I only was buying a few books but it's become too addictive now lol. There is a lot of high quality books being printed.
First thing you should learn is perspective. When I started learning to draw I began with anatomy which is great if you're just drawing one character picture but useless for full comics. David Chelsea - Perspective for comic book artists is simple and very informative.
Also Andrew Loomis - figure drawing for all its worth is essential for anatomy. Sometimes it's hard to understand but don't give up and be determined and you will be fine. You can download that one for free legally if you type it into google.
