I don't see anything not to like. I love MJF in BTTF but I'll always have some Eric Stoltz (that may have come out creepier than I intended).

The comic is supporting a great organisation fostering creativity in new generations and a new take on the BTTF series is very cool. An unusual angle. And the art looks great!

With every delivery of comics the first thing l do (after confirming each comic against the receipt) is sort them in the desired reading order. I notice pretty quickly if a title is ending up on the bottom regularly..

I love the Spawn pic by Mahmud Asrar. Reminds me a bit of Slash... But just love the position of the character, the lines.. Love it! And I'm not a huge fan of the character. I'm not a huge fan of Mahmud Asrar but I love this pic... :D

Major characters (ex Jean Grey) = 10 years or more Minor characters = doesn't matter... The thing is, a character can be "dead", but that doesn't stop publishing companies keeping the fans love alive through flashbacks and alternate reality versions. So, in the end, you don't end up missing the character at all... But that's just my view of the world..

Great question.. I like the idea of Joker going up against a telepath. The challenge, physically & mentally, could be fascinating to watch. Especially if the Joker plays on the history.. Pushes and pushes the telepath to breaking point. Batman can handle the psychological attacks - he's done it for so long. But a telepath, someone dealing with their own demons (Psylocke comes to mind, or Cable), could be really good if written well... He couldn't stay in the MU forever... Just feels wrong. But a visit, sure! Bring it on!

12 months our time. Long enough to set it up, be happy, then go awkwardly wrong. Then break up and have some exploration of the end of it all. (I could see many writers using flashbacks to this period for many years.) Then set up the connection between Superman & WW that, long term, becomes a rock solid friendship based on their history & unique superhero background. I see this as a primary storyline that runs in their respective books but could easily work into one-shots and crossovers into other titles. I say let's do it. Let's see what can happen with this idea. It won't be forever but what a great concept to explore... And then what a way to get Lois back on the scene... Let's see what Diana & Clark can do as a couple. (Personally, I think it would never work. And I think Diana needs someone different to Clark). But would still love to see it tried...

I've read in another article that it is hard to write about happily married couples. Basically, there are no storylines, no drama, to shake the foundations. I'm not saying that the writer of the article is right but I do understand the point. I think it would be harder for any writer not to want to create storylines by ending/creating couples, inserting tension/jealousies/paranoia/etc and work through how the comic couple react. It is popular enough for it to happen over and over again.. I guess the challenge is to avoid this and still keep the relationship relevant, positive and evolving -- Just like any other relationship in the real world, but with a comic world twist... and that is the kicker...

I haven't read the issue but with what I've read here I'm wishing it was done with a bit more subtlety.. This suggests a lack of creativity to me. Quite disappointing. Build it up. Slowly. Develop the character. Then bring it up. Love the idea of Alan being gay, just not how it was introduced. I loved the JSA history prior to the New 52. I was relatively new to it (only 2-3 years into it) but happily exploring the stories that made the JSA. Now, with these changes, I'll read it but with a significant amount of caution. I'll drop it quickly if there isn't some sort of nod to the roots that made the team. Jade & Obsidian.. I have always liked Obsidian. I first read about him when he was in Justice League of America with Nuklon, Fire, Ice (and Icemaiden), Power Girl, etc... His development since these times is significant. And Jade... While I don't know a lot about her I have always sought out issues where I know she is featured. (It was because of Jade I got into The Outsiders)... If and when she is introduced I hope it appeals to me as much as what her character always has... And if I don't like the story I just won't buy it anymore. Fastest way to make a point to any publisher.

I started reading X-Factor when Havok lead the team and Mystique and Sabretooth had just "joined". I loved the writing and art right up to Mutant X (most of the time). These changes just don't feel right to me. X-Factor is such a strong and independent title. Wolverine's influence just feels wrong. The insertion of Polaris (a character who I love) and Havok feels forced and unnecessary. X-Factor has the position (and benefit) to be able to run outside of events like Regenesis. I always saw this title more as a "working man's/mutant's" view of life. These changes suggest to me that the title is in danger of being dragged into the bigger world. However, there may be positives to be pulled from this. I love the idea of watching the team dynamic deal with Polaris and Havok. I can see heaps of potential conflict/storylines. Inexperienced vs Experienced; Monet vs Polaris; Different approaches in past team configurations causing conflict; the possible introduction/influence of Val Cooper (boo!) now that these 2 people are back; reintroduction of Mystique as a wanted woman or as (gasp!) a potential client... mystique would be an amazing addition as an investigator! All of this comes down to Peter David and Marvel. If Marvel can leave him alone to write I'm hoping all will be good (I really, really hope so). But if the Marvel executive board do 'a Wolverine' and tell Peter David what to do I suspect this will show very quickly and potentially result in the screwng up of a really good title... Time will tell

Love, love, LOVE Phil Noto's art - always! - but adore that he's done one of my all-time favorite characters from my early childhood (that I *still* love!): Princess/Jun!!

Also adore the Poison Ivy --- Very, very cool...

I love this feature and look forward to it everytime I come on - Thanks ComicVince :D
