To Answer the questions: yes i watched the cartoon, owned the toys and saw the original movie ha ha.
 
This is to bad, I agree with KNIGHT FANG, This could be star Wars meets lord of the Rings and be huge. lord of the Rings had dark scenes but also sold toys, so they could pull it off here as well. To bad WB is not doing it because, I beleve a darker tone was what they were going for. But who knows, another studio who is way better might pick it up and do a great job with it. We'll just have to wait and see. Just please not FOX.
 
For sure BRUCE VAIN, the new cartoon was great, and they for sure should follow their lead.

I personally wish it was based off the original book series and not some dark take on the whole thing. but i always did say I wish they gave tim Burton Wizard of Oz to play with instead of his Alice in wonderland. A gothic alice is so done and boring now. Anyways back on topic, read G-mans review of the new wizard of Oz graphic novel, i would be excited if the movie was based off the original stories like this graphic novel.

Where are you getting this spider-man reboot info from? they are in the middle of making spider-man 4 and have just hired a new writer to start penning spider-man 5 and 6. Sony has renewed the rights to spider-man, so im sure we wont see him in a marvel film for years and years to come.
 
Ya i really hope they put HULK in this film, the only reason why i can see it not happening is because of Ed Norton not returning because he wont be the leading man in the film, and im sure its in his contract if they use Hulk they must cast him.

Is this under marvel studios or fox? Cap britan is a mutant which means he would fall under Fox studios, no? I wonder if they found a way around that if they did, give me an ALPHA FLIGHT MOVIE! Ya canada! ha ha
 
I think Cap britain could be dark, he fights vampires and dracula, thats pretty dark. Oh and Jason Statham as Union jack? great casting!!
