Has there been a Marvel-villain with low self esteem?

I`d want to know, out of curiousity. I think it`s very probable, given the fact that there are so many Marvel-villains. Maybe some C- or D-class villains would have low self esteem. Please answer. Because if you don`t, I`ll drop H-bombs to 20 greatest cities of the world!
Or maybe I won`t. After all, I`ve only got 5 H-bombs...

I mean, has there been any signs of him having low self esteem? `though, it might be that he has.

Well, in a issue of New X-Men, Dani tried to manifest his nightmares, and they were of people in the circus making fun of him, Exodus calling him useless and such...to which he yells out "I'm not useless" to himself, behavior and thoughts like these would constitute low self esteem, It could have just been Dani messing with him though....my memory of it is vague

The theory goes that the only reason Thanos hasn't succeeded in his ultimate goal is because he subconsciously sabotages himself due to low self esteem

Really?  I didn`t know that. But then again, I don`t even have a comic in which he`s in.
But since I`d actually want to know if any street level -villain (other than possibly Blob) has l.s.e.

@kfhrfdu_89_76k: Low self esteem is considered one of the top reasons people turn to crime so I'm sure plenty of them do

I know there's a Spider-Man villain with low self-esteem, but I can't remember which one. Maybe Shocker.

Owen Reece the Molecule Man. He had very bad self esteem but was very powerful.

Totally agree, although his self esteem is probably still higher then the most arrogant person. Its just low for him.

Excellent choice!  I almost felt sorry for him when his girlfriend was literally kicking him while he lay on the ground crying during secret wars II...

@Timandm: If you can count him as a villain, he's definitely in the top-5 of this thread...

@Nova`Prime`: If you think about it he does have many of the symptoms of low self esteem, he pretty much devoted his whole life to someone who sees him as beneath her and will never return the affection he has for her, his family despises him to the point of creating Drax specifically to kill him which can't be helpful, and all he really wants to do is die

Wait. I do have one comic in which Thanos is in. It`s Silver surfer/Green Lantern (Kyle Rayner)-crossover. It`s pretty awesome in a cosmic sense.

I think that the mole man suffers from low self esteem.
