• Kerrigan posted a message in the forum topic Marvel Makes Plans for 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Spinoff. on the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. board

It may be a spinoff in the way Law and Order had spinoffs: new characters, only tangentially related.I'm also suspicious that "the real SHIELD" will turn out to be "the SHIELD controlled by whatever ...

Be curious to see what other Avengers books come out: there are 5 at the moment, so this is certainly not going to be the only one, and these are certainly not going to be the only Avengers.Mark Waid...

So, no mutants in this or the new Avengers book, right?Hope the rest of the FF find books, too.

Why does she need shoulder armor? What's with the wrist spikes? Wonder Wolverine Woman?Other than that, quite like it.

  • Kerrigan posted a message in the forum topic Exclusive Preview: SPIDER-WOMAN #5--New Costume Debut. on the Comic Book Preview board

Looks all right, but unless it's a deliberate change this is pushing the whole "conceal my identity" business to ridiculous levels even for superheroes. The writing is boilerplate first-person low-grad...

  • Kerrigan posted a message in the forum topic Preview: SHE-HULK #11. on the Comic Book Preview board

The art in She Hulk so far has been fantastic. I wish Marvel and DC would employ more artists willing to step outside the tedious norm.

  • Kerrigan posted a message in the forum topic The Multiversity: Pax Americana #1. on the The Multiversity: Pax Americana board

This was superb. Multiversity has been good every issue, but this was the best DC or Marvel comic of the year. Morrison's something else when he really lets it rip.

  • Kerrigan posted a message in the forum topic New Avengers #26. on the New Avengers board

Very good issue. I agree the framing system for this run is a bit odd: skipping over some potentially rewarding narrative points too fast.

I've enjoyed this season so far.Bored of Ward, though. Would have preferred him to bite it that go through whatever angsty redemption/deception arc is planned for him.

  • Kerrigan posted a message in the forum topic Teen Titans Earth One HC. on the Teen Titans: Earth One board

This is intriguing: Teen Titans was one of the bigger disappointments of the New 52. This team should be one of DC's flagship titles, with top creative talent, and both Lemire and Dodson are good.

Pity: it's been a stronger show than its comic-fan rep so far, but this sounds clumsy.
