The art in She Hulk so far has been fantastic. I wish Marvel and DC would employ more artists willing to step outside the tedious norm.

  • Kerrigan posted a message in the forum topic The Multiversity: Pax Americana #1. on the The Multiversity: Pax Americana board

This was superb. Multiversity has been good every issue, but this was the best DC or Marvel comic of the year. Morrison's something else when he really lets it rip.

Very good issue. I agree the framing system for this run is a bit odd: skipping over some potentially rewarding narrative points too fast.

I've enjoyed this season so far.Bored of Ward, though. Would have preferred him to bite it that go through whatever angsty redemption/deception arc is planned for him.

  • Kerrigan posted a message in the forum topic Teen Titans Earth One HC. on the Teen Titans: Earth One board

This is intriguing: Teen Titans was one of the bigger disappointments of the New 52. This team should be one of DC's flagship titles, with top creative talent, and both Lemire and Dodson are good.

  • Kerrigan posted a message in the forum topic Gotham: Episode 109 - "Harvey Dent". on the Gotham board

Pity: it's been a stronger show than its comic-fan rep so far, but this sounds clumsy.

  • Kerrigan posted a message in the forum topic Preview: WONDER WOMAN #36. on the Comic Book Preview board

Diana looks kind of like a traced 3D model there, great detail but stiff. Bit of the manhands going on, too...Color's beautiful, though.

  • Kerrigan posted a message in the forum topic SECRET WARS #1 Cover Revealed. on the Comic Book Preview board

That cover is glorious. As to the event, definitely intrigued, just hoping it doesn't turn into a grim "oh no, circumstances are forcing to do these terrible things" deal.I actually kind of like the bi...

@rainja: They don't own the movie rights (Fox does: as with several other properties, the movie rights were sold off when Marvel was facing possible bankruptcy in the 1990's). There's been strong sug...

The rampaging Cabal will ultimately be halted by... Miracleman? I mean, his Earth is out there somewhere, and Marvel have those juicy rights to use.A New 52ening may shortly follow.

I wish DC could get a proper Legion book running well, great setting, great characters, c'mon guys, make it work!

  • Kerrigan posted a message in the forum topic This Week's Essential Comics: 9/15/14. on the Gen. Discussion board

Spider-Verse and Multiversity are both intriguing. I do sometimes think writers need to give alternate realities/timelines a bit of a break because it's such a well-worn device in comics, but the rea...
