"I am ready Fujin..." These words were forever held in Kerli's mind as she had given her soul to save her team, her love, her eveything. She closed her eyes and went back to that place where the dark queen had tried to take eveything dear from her. She went back to the moment that changed eveything she had known to be her world. Her guardian Fujin removed the sacred mirror from her back and gazed at Kerli. "Now my child, look to what you truly want...what your true desire is." The only thing Kerli had focused on that monumental day was a way to stop all this, stop the fight, stop the hate all of it she wanted gone. She stared into the mirror as it flashed as if a million lightening bolts had combusted in front of her. She eyes widened as she was cast in a white smoke of pure light. The light swept her up and transformed her into a being bent on one thing, the end.
She floated in mid air as light grew brighter and brighter until she was bathed in light. Her body floated gently to the ground as her new soulless form revealed itself. She had on a metal suit of armor that seemed demonic and scared as it glinted in the light of the smoke that deminshed and hid of her being. It seemed that all the darkness and light huddled to her as if she were any empty vessal in need in something to fill the void. The void of her heart being gone, a heart she had given up in place of sacred armor that had horns on the helm, and a strange new weapon. Fujin had taken on not her original sword form but a hefty battle axe. "Time to end this." Kerli leapt forward as she took one slice at the castle wall. She sliced it in a clean diagonal line as if it had been butter. She lunged to the ground and rescued Manta and Firelord from the onslaught of hollows and other dark beings they had to fight. She then seemed to draw in all the light and dark energy around and shot a blast of combined energy at Toad and The Fallen. Both plummeted to the ground as smoke smoldered off their skin from the blast. The blaphemous holy fire burned their skin and left motionless and pain stricken as they tried to reaccount what had happened to them in mere seconds. Before they had time to think Kerli beheaded both. She carried they heads up to the queen to show her what her fate.
"Queen Dark Fire...you are no match for I! For I am the chosen one you ahve feared. I have given my soul to vanquish you and bring balance back to my world. Prepare to die bitch!" With that Kerli flew up at the queen before she could rebuttle. The queen flicked her hands and fire balls of pure darkness fell from the sky. "AHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Kerli yelled at the top of her lungs and her whole being turned into pure light as she countered the fire balls with her aura. She then glinted at the queen as sparks flew from her eyes. The queen smirked back and summoned a claymore that she swung at Kerlu with all her might.
Kerli ducked and weaved from everyone of the queen's advances. She then took her turn and swung Fujin at her as if in a feral hunger...lust for blood. They met in the middle steel against steel. One pushed the other back and they both back and then collided with such a force that the castle and surrounding area shook from their power. "ENOUGH!!!!" Kerli screamed as she swung Fujin as if she were a mallet at the fair and Kerli would win a prize if she sent the bitch airborn. A spacial void opened from the slash from the axe as all of time seemd to slow down. Then a light flashed similair to when Kerli gave her soul. She heard the queen scream and then nothing...Blank. A void somewhere not here or there. Just Keri and Fujin which had somehow transformed back into her sword form. "Fujin...what happened?"
"Kerli I think we...we won." Kerli smiled as she faked the emotion she was now numb to after she had given her soul up. "But Kerli...I...I fear we are trapt here in limbo."
Kerli froze as she thought back to what this meant. How could she be here. It didn't make sense it was over why was she punished..."Why Kerli I got rid of the queen...I even sacrificed my very humanity to see this through. " Kerli and Fujin remained in this dead space of lost time for what felt like an eternity. One day Kerli had the idea to try another swing like the one that had brought them there. "No!!! Kerli don't!"
She scoffed at Fujin as she knew she had to try something. There was no way she was staying here, she had to try something go somewhere just not this cold space. It reminded her too much of the emotionless robot she had become. She needed her friends, people, life, she wanted to go home. "AHHHH!!!" She took another fateful swing but this time only darkness was drawn to her.
"Welcome my dear I've been exspecting you." A man that scorched in a fiery passion of fate and greed greeted Kerli as she fell from the portal to the fiery flame filled world. Spectre-like creatures and skeleton beings covered the cavern that glowed witha vast stream of lava that spread across landscape like a flood. She looked at him as he uttered more vile tinted words at her. "This is hell my dear, I am Lucifier and I'd like tomake a bargain..." He extended his claw-like palm with fingers that were rigid and untrimed out to her. Something familiar glowed from his hand, a golden globe that had a movie on it. No it was her life and everything she had lost....he held her soul out to her. "Now if you agree to be my servant for time...you will receive your soul in return."
Kerli without any hesitation grasped his hand and followed him through his kingdom as he went through all she would be intitled to as his bringer of death. Or has culture has coined it "the reaper." TO BE CONT.
"My...my soul." Kerli stuttered as the words found their way out of her petrified body. She knew there would be a great sacrifice for her interference but not this. "Tiff is there another way! What will I do...without it?! Will just be a zombie! A shell of nothing!?" She paused as she searched for any answer that would satisfy Kerli and comfor her at the same time. He relented and went into the same stoic emotion of apathy as he had when he gave the news. "Kerli in the short time I've known you I have found that our being destined to reunite on our thrown not such a strange occurrance as I once thought. You are a marvelous woman with a strong heart, be brave you are our last hope...I am sorry, so sorry that your in this position but it's written that it would take both destined souls to save our worlds...and I have already given my soul, in order to deliever this message and grant you safe pasage through this world." He hung his had as he could barely hold himself together to speak. "Ker---Kerli I am saddened to say I will not be able to share the thrown with you..."His eyes welled up with tears as he raised his head once more to say his final goodbye. "My love, my queen....may you bless your world and be a strong couragious leader to your people...than---thank---youu." She understood what he said as his form fell to the ground. She did not have to gloat over his body for long though because the oozing pool of darkness he had been shadowed in engulfed his body like it were quick sand.
Kerli backed away as she tried to shake what had just happened out of her head. "No! Tiff isn't dead...this isn't real none of this is...it can't be! I---I must be dreaming!!!! The pain the pain it feels real though! God what is this!" She backed herself into the corner. Where she barried her hands in her face and drew her knees toward her. The tears couldn't be tamed now as they freely and wildly esacped all rational control of emotion Kerli had in her. "Oh-its her!!!!!" The shadow clones of Tiff burst out. "Look-look-look-look-look!" They each say one after the other as they all stand and face the silvery haired woman that had emerged from the door to the white room. As she walked the shaowy darkness seemed to evaporate behind her. She swayed with a confidence that had a feeling of familiarity to it. She carried a small bluish tinted mirror on her back, a black eye patch over her right eye, and a smirk on her face as if telling Kerli everything would be alright. "Kerli! We will do this together! Tiff and the others have sacrificed greatly! We can't let their efforts be in vain, now move it missy! We gotta kingdom to save, a queen to slay, and of course we have to ge you kids back to school!" The woman smiled as she outstretched her hand toward Kerli.
"Fujin?! Is that you?" Kerli blinked as the whit haired woman grinned and replied, "as I live and breathe I am your guardian Fujin and this is my true form...of course like Tiff told you I am the key to unlocking your true power too." I hesitated at her mention of Tiff and this whole business of my true potential. "Kerli you mustn't be hesitant we can do this together! This is it...these are the trials of truth, will you be truthful to yourself? Or will you give up?! We can't go back this is it all or nothin' kid." Kerli nodded as she embraced her dear friend in a shared hug. "Now then hold my hands and focus deep into my eyes and think abour sending your energy to me...I'll do the rest."
Kerli nodded as she clasped Fujin's hands tight. She could feel her skin begin to feel hot, after a few minutes of nothing else happening Fujin began to fade. Then Kerli's skin began to become hard and silvery, horns pierced through her skull and she felt numb. No more fear, no more, sadness, nothing just emptiness. Pure unadult-rated drive to kill the one that had caused all of Kerli's recent suffering and anguish....Queen Blackfire. Her eyes changed from a pastel blue to a empty fire, her body moved fluidly yet in a robotic fashion. Her speed and agility had doubled, and her fury was unmatched by even Slicer. She was ready for the ultimate showdown with Queen Blackfire. She sprinted through the open window of the white room. Like a feral beast she jumped from roof top after roof top until she faced the Queen that floated in midair directing her minions around. Kerli raised one of her devilish claws to Queen Blackfire and said, "Your going---to pay."
"What was that?" Kerli looked around in a dazed state. "I just saw Jester but...that wasn't her....she wasn't really there!" The room spins and quickly fastwarded to Mercury and Jester as they shared a kiss. Then the room flashed. Disorientated Kerli found the white chair that stayed constant to the room. She was taken to where Slicer had fought off at least twenty or so guards. "Slicer! Slicer" Kerli held our her hand as she reached for some sort of reality...that was real tangible.
The room went dark. A black smoke rose from under the chair she had been sitting in. A distorted metalic voice arose from the smoke. "Kerli, Kerli you got caughty because you've been naughty..." Several shadow-like clones of Tiff emerged and they all chanted to the same song. "Now Kerli your destiny...ha destiny is to become one with us or die?"
Kerli looked into the souless eyes of the clones in front of her. Astonished by how black that room had become, yet how cleary she could see the ink stained versions of Tiff that stood in front of her. She shook her head. "Wheres Tiff?! What is this place?!"
"Ha ha ha ha." All the clones laughed...."Is it yoru friend or something more?!" Their eyes narrowed as they all pointed to the end of what was the white room but now appeared to only be black lively smoke. The smoke parted like the red seas, or a curtain parting for the opening act. Chained to a pool of black tar like smoke that swirled and bubbled on the ground...there was Tiff.
"Tiff!" Kerli exclaimed. "Oh Tiff its aweful! I don't know where anyone from my team is, Manta & Firelord are getting crushed outside. It's all my fault! I drug everone into this..."
He shook his head. "No, it wasn't your fault. Its your destiny to be here now. To be reunited with me...as it was Manta's and Firelord's to protect you...and your teamates to protect you. You see before the guardians served Queen Blackfire they served me. I was the Prince before that aweful woman stole my thrown from me. She had Fallen One & Toad help her and all her evil minions. She turned Fujin into a sword and her to your world, brainwashed Destroyer, and made Manta, Firelord, and Plasma serve her."
He grasped her face with her hand. Raised it to meet his and kissed her softly. "Together though with my gurdians and your own guardians...we will vanquish her. And you will take your rightful place as the queen with me your king." Kerli looked at him unable to fully comprehend the kiss, the title he had just promised her, and all the bits about the queen.
"What is this Tiff how do I save you? Get you out of her?"
The clones form a wall around him. "Your-not-allowed-well-you-need-Fujin!" Each shadow clone says a seperate word as Kerli stared each of them down as if she could blast each one of their heads off. "Okay where is my sword...wait Tiff did you say the queen 'turned Fujin into a sword'?"
"Tiff nodded yes, Fujin is actually a guardian...well your 'key' as I have my twin keyblades. With Fujin as you've noticed she can transform into various weapons of your choice." He cleared his throat as he grew weaker and weaker by the minute. "In her human form she has much more power and can transform into a ultimate weapon for you to take on the queen."
"Well what it is?!"
He focused his eyes on Kerli as if he had some grave news to give her..."Its an armor that will require you to give up your soul..."
Kerli wondered where her guide to this world was leading her. They eventually made there may to a large gate to what appeared to be the opening of a kingdom. "Looks like someone took care of the hard part for us." The boy with silverly hiar smirked at Kerli and scuffled. She could help but blush at his remark and followed him in, close behind as if his shadow. She felt uttely useless and defenseless, her sword was gone and she was clueless as to where she was. All she knew is that it felt right. And whatever that boy meant about them being tied to each others' worlds really stuck to her.
"Oi look Fallen One it looks like the little Kerli has finally her debut for her dinner-date. Wouldn't want her to be late."
"Ah yes Toad your quite right...yes...but what is she doing with that hithen of a child!"
A black portal simliar to the one that had transported her here opened up beneath Tiff. "Be gone with you annoying gnat!" Tiff was swallowed up in the darkness but mangaged to utter a few words before he left..."Manta! Save her! Mant..." Then was drowned away the darkness as it bubbled and pussed and sunk into the shadows.
"well then shall?" The one called Fallen One streached out his pale musclear hand to Kerli. Around him was an aura of pure darkness that she knew she couldn't trust.
"No!!!! Give him back! What did you do with him? JUST BRING BA-!" Before she could finish her demand she was swept up by a shimmering light. She turned and could see that it was a woman ordaned in a black,yellow, and white costume. the light she prjected came from her cape...or were they wings? Kerli didn't care and it didn't matter to her...she knew she was safe and felt that this cpuld be the one Tiff refered to Manta. Below she could see the small disgusting man known as toad try to hop his way towards us and Fallen One fly after. Toad was intercepted however by a fiery figure that had decented from the sky. "Haha not so fast my friends!" He twirled a baton that had fire balls at either end around fim and taped Toad with one end and chuckled as the frog-like man hopped around frantically to douse the flames. Then the fire-man turned his gaze towards our direction.
Was he after us too? Why was he staring at us so intently?! I thought to mysalf as I watched him get his arm ready for fire baton assault. Oh God, killed by a baton twirler...really is this how carzy my life is?!?! I could sense everything happen around me, he relaesed the baton. It cut through so dark orb Fallen One had thrown at us, and flew back around like a boomerang and brought Fallen One crashing down to meet this mysterious fire hero.
"Now child...I must leave you to help my dear friend Firelord, and stop my evil brother....trust no one my child. Especially the queen. Your friends are near and I will send you to one that has risked it all and found my santuary in this terrible place." Manta smiled gently as they hovered there for a few seconds. She then extended her right palm to the air and a bright portal opened. "Child if you ever need me just call my out my name...Manta."
"Thanks Manta!" Kerli got so caught up in the moment that she almost forgot her questions. "Manta wait! I have some questions where is my sword Fujin or what happend to Tiff?!?!" Kerli was then consumed by light everything flashed before her in slow motion. She reached her hand out hoping to go back...to find answers and help them. She could see Firelord had been pinned to the ground and some of the hollow creatures Tiff had told her of earlier were surrounding Manta.
Then it was gone. She was surrounded by light but a different kind of light.....the room she found herself in seemed to radiate the light. There was no actual lights of any sort in here. Just white. White chairs, floors, tables, walls, everything except for one thing. "Jester!!!!!" Kerli ran towards her classmate tears flowed down her face with every step she took. "Oh my God! what are you doing here?! Are alone...if not where is everyone! Oh...okay this is great I have some friends outside that need help come on!" Kerli turned to the nearby window towards a fiery battle that was taking place far below. She saw Firelord and Manta surrounded and then smothered by a vast number of hollows. "Oh God...why?"
