While that would be true if Stark had done it for any of the reasons you talk about. Stark took action because Mr. Fantastic said there was some event coming that was a big danger; mind you an event that might not happen. Also one must first accept that a society is not Corrupt, ineffective or Just plan bad before one should care about it thoughts on violence. If any government or Police agency exist that is so poor it can not handle it’s business to the point wear average people must become Superheroes then it is self evident that the institution is not worthy of it position of respect or authority.

Joker brought the Mob to it's knee's, almost killed all of Gotham, he was smarter then Batman for almost the whole film, he vreated a monster out of a hero, and he did not care about anything. for all Bane's thoughness he still was a henchmen to Talia. in the movie world the joker was extremely capable.

Catwoman and Batman have teased or hinted at a relationship long before any Al Ghuls even were in comic. if you need any proof go back to your own blog called Bat and kitty and read the post by Glaucus. he spells it out pretty clear that Catwoman was supposed to be a love intrest from the monent Bob Kane created her. Lastly how can you be so happy with a film will Talia is the most evil person in the film?
