@jrock85: I'm giving Winick one more issue just because of my love for the character. But I stand by my belief that just showing boobs, butts, and skimpy underwear doesn't equal sexy. Catwoman's sexiness was once mostly found in her character but not in this new incarnation. Where she was once intriguing due to her complexity, now she comes across as an unlikable and almost trashy character that it's easy to dislike.
If this is Winick's "Catwoman for 2011" then I'm ready for a new writer.
@danhimself: The scene was forced not necessarily the sex. I mean it had no real connection with the story. Just BOOM it happens. The entire issue was like that, lurching from one scene to another with hardly any context or flow.
Red Skull looks amazing. Cap looks like he's jaundice!
And I've always questioned why these are called Toys. My son has bought several of these to actually play with and they seldom stay together. When I think of "toy" I relate it to something you play with.
@damswedon: Thanks for the recommendations. I always looking for something to keep him interested in comics. Scooby Doo and ultra cartoony superhero books have ran their course with him. He's reading Super Dinosaur but Kirkman has started running behind and missing release dates.
@damswedon: Yep, there is a DC kid's line. But my son is kinda tired of reading kids book. He wants to be excited about things like the New 52 but I just can't let him. He want's to read some of the things I'm reading. It's sad that I have to turn him away when all he wants is join in on this great industry.
