This comic was a big-nothing-burger.

Ah, I stand corrected. I just vaguely remembered hearing something about it on MTV or VH1 or something. Man, I forgot how short Dio is, lol.

@doordoor123: @Katie24: Saw an interview with the, now late, Ronni James Dio once where he poked some fun at Gene and their feud over who invented the devil horns sign. According to Ronnie, Gene also invented shoes, air and breathing :)

Dio says he got the devil horn sign from his grandmother who a eastern European Jew. She would do that sign as a way to ward off bad spirits or something and as a kid it scarred the crap out of him, so he started to do it at concerts. Simmons is also also an eastern European Jew so maybe he saw this growing up to. Maybe they both deserve a little credit, who knows. But personally I give Dio the credit for it. Dio rocks, his music makes me want to play D&D, my level 12 halfling rogue would kick Gene Simmons ass!

You should see Gene Simmons' MPR interview. I think it WAS the reporter's fault, but Gene came off as one of the most arrogant, ignorant people in the world. For that reason, I didn't support this book.

As a collector of old Rolling Stone magazines, I've read a lot of Simmons interviews and he pretty much always comes off that way. He is a good business man and knows how to market himself and his band, but the dude will do ANYTHING for a buck.

So am I the only person so far who thinks Wonder Woman is acting this way because she got shot in the heart with Eros' gun?

I don't think this is a character change just magic.

No, you're not the only one. It's weird that it seems almost no one has made the connection that those golden guns are the modern day stand-in for Eros' (Cupid's) bow and arrows. It's simple, folks: you get shot by those, you fall in love. Or didn't anyone notice the hearts in the muzzle flashes, on the cover of Wonder Woman #8?

Now the question is: who did Diana fall in love with? Tradition says you get shot by Cupid's arrow, and you fall in Iove with the first person you see. I honestly don't recall what the mythology says though - is it the first person you see, or whoever the shooter intends you to fall in love with?

If it's who the shooter intends you to fall in love with, then Diana is in love with Hades. If it's the first person she sees, then she's in love with Zola. Either way, she's bound to do some out of character things while under the influence of that bullet.

The next question is: how long does that bullet's influence last?

^ I was just about to write this....this is exactly my opinion. I think she's actually fallen in love with Hades, which would explain her slightly/ out of character behaviour. Think the mythology states that it is the first person you see (well, as far as I can remember it). But then she first saw Zola....... just have to see how it plays out.

I think Wonder Woman is in love with Zola due to being shot by Ero's guns. I think she is marrying Hades to protect Zola. I mean if you are truly in love with someone wouldn't you do anything to protect them from harm? So I think she is just going to suck it up and hold up her end of the bargain in order to protect Zola. This is seriously the best comic DC has going right now. Its truly amazing and I love it. It's so original and the plot is so meticulously put together, its been awesome and just keeps getting better.

Do you think this comic will be collected into a graphic novel eventually? I would rather read it in that format if its going to be available eventually. Other wise I will see if its still available at my comic shop.

While I love the forum section of this website, the news updates and the mass amounts of info available, I find the staff reviews completely unreliable. This comic was not nearly as good as this review makes it sound. And a 5-star review should mean the comic was perfect. How often do you come across a perfect comic? They are rare. And look how often Comicvine hands them out. Its kinda ridiculous.
