I just copied whatever was on the cover :) yeah he does need a shave though but this I felt looks much natural. He is too busy being a vigilante that he has no time for shaving!

The reversed image is really nice. However I really cant say (although I want to) the flipped one is better - the reason - I have looked at my original sketch and am familiar with it for so long that the second one looks different and as though its done by someone else. Of course If I look at others sketches, I like them better than mine... and with my own, I tend to find flaws...

@tonis: actully thats the way the cover is...maybe someone should tell the creators about how characters flow :P

@kashyaprn: good one, has that classic Dark Knight kind of feel. :)

The only thing I'd do different is flip it, characters seem to visually flow much better coming from left to right.
