I'm in.

The Relaunches are helping Marvel to build more accessible "jump-on" points for new readers while not breaking the continuity for long time readers. Its annoying as hell, but when you look at how and where within the stories they are doing the relaunches, we are seeing less series get cancelled mid-story, and more of them doing short tight-runs that readers can see to completion but that Marvel doesn't lose their shirt on by running longer than it needs to be.

If the creative team, and characters prove popular enough, well just keep them for the next "NOW" and make it a continuation of the next story. If not, well then lets retry the same property with new folks and let the old team try a new property.

I'm kinda enjoying it.

I liked the pair of them. I definitely plan on giving Harley Quinn a read because the 0 issue was fun and if it keeps that way it will be the one Fun book DC has.

Also definitely bring in more creative teams for this podcast. The additional banter and input made it a fun one to listen to.

@personz Yeah I guess so. I've been digging Cable & The X-Force and Uncanny, but Si Spurrier helming what looks to be a fusion of the 2 casts looks fun. Plus he has teased that he has plans for Dr. Nemesis in the new title. So yay for that.

Adding X-Force, She-Hulk and Ms. Marvel for sure.

Glad to see Peter David kept Gambit's kittens from Astonishing X-Men.

Sad W&tXM is ending, but if Amazing X-Men becomes the new "Jean Grey School" book, then that is fine by me. Also I didn't think of it getting Marvel Now'd though. There does need to be a student focused book.

X-Men: Sad that Kitty and Rogue are not on the roster but glad that Karima and Monet are on it. Looking good.

Uncanny Avengers: OMG Finally that story will wrap up. I've been enjoying it but damn the tension kinda hurts.

Also oye with all the Avengers stuff. And giving them a "time displaced originals" plot? Okay. I'm game.

As forced as the witty banter was in Amazing X-Men, it was nice to have an X-Book not be so dire. Amazing X-Men felt like it was bringing back the fun energy that W&tXM originally had before it went off track. And yay for Firestar coming in to the X-Men. Too Bad the character she replaced left the book in a rather "meh" manner.

@g_man Thanks for answering my question. Since that question was from a bit ago, I have been keeping a close eye on the news, previews, and solicits for DC. While I'm still cutting back on New 52 books drastically (mostly because Image is getting more of my cash lately), I am giving Batwoman, Earth 2, and Animal Man a month by month chance. Especially since the new creative teams on Batwoman and Earth 2 have some good work behind them. Batgirl is starting to get some of it's "spark" back (if it is ever allowed to go more than 2 months without an interrupt), and Animal Man has got a great artist on it now.

So I haven't walked away entirely but they are no longer on my pull list.

Thanks for the response.

My suggested listening for anyone picking up Sandman:Overture today.

"Where's Neil When You Need Him?". A compilation of dark-alternative artists who all wrote original songs based on various Gaiman books and comics. My personal favorite is "You Better Leave the Stars Alone" (Stardust), and "A Sister Named Desire" (Sandman).

Perfectly surreal for a perfectly sublime return to a loved comic.
