Well, I enjoy DC far more than Marvel, so obviously I voted DCAU. But the comparison isn't really fair when it's two so widely different mediums.

I did like most of the Marvel universe movies that I have seen (though Avengers really wasn't very good IMO).

JL8 is the best thing since sliced bread. I follow it every week, and has for a good while.

Justice League, no contest.

I can understand why people would think The Avengers would be more fun to meet, but honestly, I feel like the experience would be unpleasant. The Avengers are serious quite a bit of the time, then you have Tony Stark constantly talking down to people. And I ain't goin' anywhere near a Hulk. Sure Cap and Spidey would be cool to meet, but I feel like the JL might treat the casual fan nicer...except for Batman.

Yeah, I find it funny how everyone would want to meet Batman, but in reality Batman would probably careless about meeting us. He'd duck out at the quickest chance he had. lol xD

He'd probably insult you, say ''he doesn't have time for this'' and grapple away in style. Though, I won't lie, even having Batman insult me, would be an honor.

It so would.

Eh. It'd bother me more to see all kinds of fake brands. Yes, there's a Sears in Smallville. There probably also would be one in a real town. What's so strange about that? Unless the movie starts really advertising (ie. if somebody drinking a Cola starts monologing(?) about how great the taste is), then I'll just see it as a regular, normal world, which is actually more believable than if they didn't use product placement.

This is awesome! Gordon is a great character, and if they follow the themes from Gotham Central, it can only be a success.

If you look closely, there's a pill in the cave which is suddenly missing (because Alfred ate it). That pill is a kryptonite thingy-majing which confers superpowers and stuff to whoever eats it. It's a plot point of the Injustice game, making the streetlevellers able to go toe-to-toe with the very powerful characters, like superman (although I do think that surprise worked very much in Alfred's favor here).

Alfred was so badass in this! I loved every second of it.

There was a rather funny and interesting Joker - Harley story in No Man's Land. I think it's in either trade #3 or #4. Harley is unhappy with the Joker who's busy with his schemes; she happens upon a 'dating guide' book, and starts playing hard to get, to interest the Joker. It may sound trivial and cliche, but I actually really enjoyed that story.

No ads, possibly extra content (intros, sketches/additional artwork), more durable and you can store them better on shelves.

Trades usually are cheaper than individual issues.

In addition to these reasons, I simply can't buy them individually, as I have no comic shop anywhere near me. There are a few comics that I buy digitally, but others that I hold off on, even if I am interested in them, purely so that I can have the trade on my shelf.

It seems to me that single issues very quickly take up a *lot* of space, far more than trades ever would. Plus, they're far more flimsy; you have to get protection sleeves and special boxes for them; it's more clunky to read a whole story arc as you have to take each comic out of a sleeve, read, put it back etc., and that's assuming that you keep them all in order. I doubt I'd buy many of them even if I did have a LCS. But the very long wait is a huge downside. Also why I have started buying digitally, even though I prefer paper.

I'd watch the hell out of that. I loved Gotham Central, and I've seen some spoof trailers for exactly this kind of show, and they were awesome.
