@Silkcuts: @Roxanne Starr:   If you guys haven't guessed yet then I'll tell you now ^^
1 Osito was Bane's Teddy when he grew up in prison, he had a knife hidden in there to fend off any pedo's
2 Brokeback does refer to his most famous act but also to a recent movie with two cowboys
3 I should have made it: A manly love story by Kamen Rider Kajiki.
4 But then again that would have broken the comedy of the visual itself, which is to me a clue enough of who his Osito is xD

Did that clear it up? :)

" @Kamen Rider Kajiki: by that logic superman wouldn't be a super hero given that all his abilities are natural to all kryptonians under a yellow sun "
If you consider Batman a Superhero and not just a vigilant, you could still consider Superman a Superhero too. Since he has a secret Identity and a costume.

" @xerox-kitty:     Actually he has superhuman healing abilities besides his ability to regenerate.  Also, is wearing tights somehow required to be a superhero?  And so what if he relies on gadgets, so does batman... "

His healing abilities are part of his regeneration ability so how is that any different from what Xerox said?. These so-called ''super powers'' you guys attribute to him is normal for his species which beats the purpose of it being super. This is the same reason why I refuse to say that Superman has Super powers because he isn't a human and every Kryptonian exposed to the yellow sun could get those powers.

So he pre-dated Superman, Seriously not something to be surprised about. G-man already even made article discussion that :P lol

I loved the few older works I managed to pick up, and because of that I refuse to watch the movie.

" This reminds me that not that many people probably know that there have been 5 Batmans, 5 Robins, and 5 Batgirls in DC Comics history. "
wait whaaaaaaaaaaaaT?  i only know of 3 batmans and 4 batgirls! are you counting future mantle holders i.e. damian and Tim for batman? still i have 1 batgirl missing who is  she!! "
3? are you just starting or something? Mainstream i'd say:
Bruce
Azrael (Temporary)
Dick
Jason (Battle of the Cowl)
Damian  (BM: 666)
Terry (BM: Beyond)
And Batman One Million

I got 7, 8 if i count The golden age story of Thomas Wayne's Batman coincidence and 9 if i also count the Earth 2 Batman >_>

Billy Batson is the first and the best. But Mar-vell still has a special place in my heart. Since his was the first non translated comic book series i followed, right up to his death.

@turoksonofstone: I'm that not sure either, but i'm pretty sure the English loved masked smugglers too XD
