It always amuses me when some site reports what they clearly and justifiably suspect to be a blatantly false rumor and then proceeds to discuss it like it's anything other than a blatantly false rumor.

Obidiah Stane should at the top of the list. He set the bar for all the Marvel villains who came after, and it was pretty high. I found him more impactful and impressive a bad guy presence than Loki has been so far.

The whole "hero pays off the mercenary bad guy when he can't actually beat him in a fight" routine is a bit overused and edging towards stale at this point.

The Thor Police idea is the kind of thing that sounds like fun conceptually, but doesn't really make much sense in practice. Of all the major characters in the MU, Thor is maybe the least temperamentally suited to be a detective and Doom would know this.
