very hard to believe that he could defeat Captain Britain especially after what has happened to CB in recent events. Super speed, Force Field, Flight and now its believed he at +100 though it has not be officially confirmed. Things stamina allows him to exert himself at peak for an hour while CB can for up to 24. I see Thing getting tired very rapido.
Very true i had overlooked that she can locate things via air movement. SO invisibility on Magnetos part wouldn't work. But as the deal breaker goes in most battles its speed and reaction time. Storm has no way in boosting her speed while Magneto reacts 15 times faster the normal human and is able to move faster then beings such as Northstar.
Vulcan is able to stop energy wielders from using their powers. Iceman can stop fire users from using their abilities Vibranum can pull Colossus right out of his armored form.
But storm has no ability that can counter Magnetos vast array of abilities. What people do not realize is that Magneto does not only rely on manipulating the electromagnetic spectrum from without he can also affect it with himself augmenting his durability, his speed and strength all to superhuman levels to the point where he can: Catch Northstar while in flight, go toe-to-toe with Colossus and Namor, and lift well over 100 tons. This combined with the fact that he can manipulate the light around him to make himself invisible gives him far too many ways in which he could attack Storm and almost no way for her to defend against it rather than lasing out with offensive abilities. It has yet to be seen whether or not Storm would even be able to extract the air from Magnetos lungs seeing how nothing is able to penetrate his force field and since he does not lose the air already within his force filed seeing how he is capable of interstellar travel he would constantly just rebreathe that same air contained within the force field.
i would have to go for magneto on this one. While both have very stronge offensive abilities, storms defensive abilities are almost non existent to defend against mags attacks.
I mean in any fight we could say for example.... "But Hercules would throw the car at him before he could run away because he would be one the ground and not looking becuase he was hurt blah blah blah...". There can be an infinite amount of outcomes from battles so when we do these its really necessary to take into account scans and past battles. Although Storm as we all know is very powerful i do not believe she has deomnstrated fighting abilities compared to Magneto. Sure she has show down people and done some pretty impressive feats like for example show the ability to take someones air from their lungs...but most of the things she has done shes done when shes with her team. Magneto has taken on armys and entire super hero teams by himself on MANY ocassions. And since i have not read every comic in the world it is possible that Storm has on a couple of ocassions faced more than one person but im confident she has not faced half of what Magneto has.

very true. I've never considered him the evil type like Lex Luthor or Apocalypse. He does what he believes is the right thing and at times has even been an ally to the X-men and has been apart of the team as well.
