They're good scenes, but display absolutely no argument. The first was Wolverine taking out his anger and Cyc not even fighting back. The second is Wolverine flanking a distracted opponent...So...HOW do they apply to this scenario?

Gambit, though he can throw explosives, is still predominately a brawler. Many of the X-men and Avengers are not brawlers like Iron Man and Emma Frost. Someone like Vision or Domino is needed to bring down Trauma otherwise this ends in defeat. "
Also, Truama may be a power house, but they all don't share the same fears, IMO. At most, he may be able to engage one...And if its Wolverine, it may be quite awhile before he can actually KO him.

.......He wore it on one occasion. Knowing hand to hand doesnt really classify you as a brawler, IMO.
