I am probably just having a brain freeze and missed the connection somewhere, but the prior read had Batman in a confrontation with Freeze. Batman had just been infected blah blah blah, but there was no resolution to that and now he is with Ivy and the only connection is a slight mention to the disease that was released from his fight with Freeze? How did Batman heal up? How did he get from being infected by Freeze to where he is now? Or are these stories to be taken separately with a lot of assumptions built in?
I thought this was going to be stupid. However, I really enjoyed this comic. There were great father-son moments and how Superman tried to keep Jon from the realities of war. The end was also a very good cliff hanger to another mystery upcoming on the island.
@donmeca2020: Don't know if you have kids or not, but I have to say my kids loved Superman Family Adventures and I would get a good laugh over it as well. I will be getting this.
1. Did we see how Gotham and GG got their powers in the first place?
2. What I did not care for was how Batman took to Gotham and GG so fast. He does not allow people to get that close in such a short period, also Batman has a pretty big ego and does not like to share the territory of Gotham with other heroes, we have seen that with Superman and other hero interaction, so I just think Batman is a bit out of character with taking to the duo so quickly. He took to them prior to even doing the background check........
Loved it. I liked the art and I really enjoy Tomasi writing, he did a great job when he was writing Batman and Robin. He knows how to find depth in a character like with Robin and now with Superman.
