Marvel needs to find not just a good writer, but also someone who actually wants to write Moon Knight. Someone who loves the character and can give the character 100% dedication. Ed Brubaker's favorite character was Bucky and you can easilly tell by his writing, and look what he did for that character, so i think that's what Marvel needs. Either that or give him a more mature Marvel Max type series that's a little darker. Alot of people might not agree, but i've always wanted to see someone like Garth Ennis take a stab at MK. He may be too much for some but i think he could def handle the crazy side of MK without changing everything.

Here's the entire Brubaker run in order. You won't be sorry, you picked a great time to get back into Cap.

Captain America: Winter Soldier: Book One
Captain America: Winter Soldier: Book Two
Captain America: Red Menace: Book One
Captain America: Red Menace: Book Two
Captain America: Civil War
The Death of Captain America Vol. 1: Death of a Dream
The Death of Captain America Vol. 2: The Burden of Dreams
The Death of Captain America Vol. 3: The Man Who Bought America
Captain America: The Man with no Face
Captain America: Road to Reborn
Captain America: Reborn
Captain America: Two Americas

Steve Rogers: Super Soldier
Captain America: No Escape

Captain America: The Trial of Captain America (TPB comes out next month)

I added the Steve Rogers trade since it's also written by Brubaker and somewhat ties into the other Cap stories. Hope this helps and enjoy!

Hmmmm i still don't feel any better. I won't mind this if it isn't all flashbacks and shows Cap and Bucky working together in the present also, but seems like it'll all be set in WWII, which means Bucky still might get screwed in the present timeline and die, or turn, or whatever. Who cares about the old school Bucky i want the badass Bucky i've been reading the last few years

"We all knew this was going to happen. On the one hand I'm glad to see Steve back as Cap as he is Captain America to me. On the other hand this is Marvel basically screwing Bucky over in favour of Steve in order to appeal to the wider masses. At least give Bucky his own series. Given the hype the Cap movie will generate you can probably afford it. Still should be interesting. Brubaker knows how to handle Steve let's hope he can do it again."

Yeah i could live with it maybe if Bucky got his own series. I still would hope he'd keep the cap costume though, i think it looks awesome. But if marvel decides to kill him or turn him it'll be very hard for me to pick up a Cap book for a long time.

“I gave myself a few challenges for this new #1 - I wanted to do the perfect Cap comic for anyone who walks out of the Cap movie and wants to know what's next, but it also had to build on everything I've done on the book beforehand, too, and feel like the natural next step,” explained Brubaker.

In other words, "We were afraid that people wouldn't buy our comic if Steve wasn't Cap after they saw the film, so instead we threw away years of character growth and amazing storylines with Bucky because of a two hour movie." Yeah Marvel, thanks for the big slap in the face to ever Bucky fan on earth.....jerks -___- "

I couldn't agree with you more.

I'd say if you're looking into getting into some Cap, now is the best time to do so and yes, its definately worth it. Ed Brubaker's run on the series has been amazing and of all the Cap stories i've read his is my favorite. Here's the entire run of trades in order and starting from the begining would be a good place to jump in. The first volume gives alot of info about Cap's history and it was the book that got me hooked.

Captain America: Winter Soldier: Book One
Captain America: Winter Soldier: Book Two
Captain America: Red Menace: Book One
Captain America: Red Menace: Book Two
Captain America: Civil War
The Death of Captain America Vol. 1: Death of a Dream

**At this point Bucky takes over as Cap but if you read this far you'll probably be hooked and want to keep reading**

The Death of Captain America Vol. 2: The Burden of Dreams
The Death of Captain America Vol. 3: The Man Who Bought America
Captain America: The Man with no Face
Captain America: Road to Reborn
Captain America: Reborn
Captain America: Two Americas
Captain America: No Escape

Hope this helps. I've read almost every Cap trade and while Brubaker's run is hands down the best, another awesome run from the early 80's is collected in a trade called War and Remembrance by Roger Stern and John Byrne. I can't read most older comics because they put me to sleep but this one was great. And finally as far as Cap having a new costume, you might have read that Steve Rogers is now playing a Nick Fury type of role as America's new top cop of the security of the country, and he wears a new costume, so maybe that's what you heard of. Also i heard that the Cap series is going to be relaunched in June so i guess it wouldn't surprise me if they gave him a more modern costume though as a hardcore fan i hope they don't.
