An Idea that a friend and I had

So a friend and I were discussing what would be an interesting arc for Marvel to do that involved our favorite Web-Head and that would set up something interesting for the Marvel U. My friend said, "What if some of the lesser known or B-list to C-List villains of Spidey found a Cosmic Cube and used it to increase their power levels to a really powerful and they also eliminate all the main A-list Heroes except for Spider-Man. Spidey notices this and goes to fight them but get's beat. So he finds the remaining hero's to help, basically the younger and lesser known heroes of the Marvel U. This team would be a slightly dysfunctional team that fights off in a battle against the powerful B-List villians. When they win and try to reset reality "Back to the way it is suppose to be" with the cube the cube gives off a weird glow before it shatters and a darker reality appears....

When my friend and I talked about it we were thinking possibly some of the Young Avengers, the AA and younger X-Men that would be over looked when the villians used the cosmic cube, along with the many over looked adult heroes of the Marvel U. We thought it would be nice to show Pete's leadership skills that are sometimes overlooked due to some of the other heroes. I kinda thought of this going into the "Reverse OMD" stories eventually, basically Metiphisto's deal Keeps reality from resetting the right it is suppose to be, creating a reality where it is up to the all the heroes and some of the villains to help Spidey and correct this deal. My friend said he could see that happening or Marvel even going into deeper issues and possibilities.

Note: I wasn't sure who all to list in the tags so if you want me to add people just let me know, thanks, also this was just an idea that came up after a lecture in Criminology, we are poor college students that do not work for Marvel, so if you don't like it you don't have to worry about it happening, that said please no rude remarks. Thanks

Bruce Wayne For President?

I don't know how this would work in the DCnU now or if the DCnU will only last as long as New Coke, (A really recent economical situation has limited me on what I am able to read now), but I had this thought. I don't know if it is because of the upcoming election year or what.

Bruce Wayne is a man that is forever battling crime both as Batman (that we all know and love) and also we see through diffrent comics that as Bruce Wayne he fights crime using charities and programs that help out people so they don't need to turn to crime. My thought is that perhaps at one point he sees the only next step is to become a politician and knowing Bruce he will go big. This could create some good storylines such as Dick returning back to the cowl at different points to cover for Bruce. It would also be cool to see different characters reacting to this during the campaign. Personally If somehow Olliver Queen was cleared of charges somehow, I would love to see him as Bruce's running mate. Yes Both hate each other at times but it they would also have an understanding for the betterment of the Nation. This would also allow for some public debate about Batman Inc. and add some conflict there.

Some people would argue that Bruce wouldn't enter the political spectrum or something like that. I just see this as the next logical step in the character development. I know this is a weird out there idea but hey, if we think about it 20 years ago people might have laughed at the idea of having Jason Todd coming back to life as a villain/anti-hero.

How about giving us both DC? (DCnU and DC Classic)

I know a lot of people are worried and complaining about the DCnU. Along with this I know there are several blogs dedicated to this idea and cause for either going on with it or sticking to the original Universe.  I my self took  some time to stop and think about it for awhile one day. In my head I battled fresh ideas versus classic characters and Teams like the JLA not existing anymore. This is where I have reasoned that maybe having a fresh universe for new readers isn't a bad idea but like most I feel loyal to the way things are in the DCU and the last issues of comics such as Batgirl, Red Robin and many others just gave me the feeling of uncompleted stories that will never happen in the DCnU. Perhaps DC at some point should make the DCnU like Ultimate Comics was in the beginning and continue the story lines from where they were let off in the last issues. Though DC would have to figure out how to work out the Bat-books,  though it shouldn't be that hard to change up that for the DCnU.  In my opinion perhaps DC should do this to appease both sides (along with deal with the Superman drama Lawsuit).

Damian Wayne: Maybe not a Titan but a team of is own?

I know I started a Forum discussion on this but I just thought I would also blog about this as well. I personally think that Damian should possibly start or be at least a founding member in a revived Young Justice or some type of younger team of that kind. Right now you have the new Impulse of Iris West and you still have Sin Lance. It would also be interesting if Chris Kent had a body that fit his actual age. It would be interesting to see another Kryptonian/Bat-family interaction with Damian handling one that is his own age. I have a feeling that Chris would try to understand Damian better than some of the other parts of his "Family". Iris would be interesting as well because of her personality and the way it would clash with Damian's "this is a mission" attitude.  I thought about  Sin because she would probably follow in the foot steps of her adopted family and try to become a heroine herself.
I also consider Lian Harper as a possibility if DC decides to bring her back. She would be interesting to mirror Damian due to the fact they both have a very similar back ground. It would be nice in my opinion to bring her back but at the same time it isn't a total mandatory thing that has to happen.  I imagine that Dick would be the one that would be in the mentor that hands out the missions and other responsibilities, mainly because he has the most experience dealing with a team of younger heroes and that he is the only one that can properly deal with Damian without wanting killing him. It also is a concept to heighten the brotherly rivalry between Tim and Damian on whose team is better, better leader, ect.

This is just my brainstorm of ideas.
