I'm really interested to see how she turns out post-reboot.

Me too. I've always wanted to like the character, just never have.

I'm seriously hoping that Dick and Babs end up together.

I've noticed that a lot Barbara Gordon fans dislike Starfire. Do you think its just because of her relationship with Dick?

@jrock85: I think that it's an ENORMOUS factor (I know it's my main reason), but I also think that it's because their characters are incredibly different. They're both independent females who can kick ass, but that's about all they have in common. And what some people love about one character may make them hate/dislike what they see in the other.

I if I were Dick, trying to choose between these two would be the most agonizing experience of my life! LOL
I think Babs is the one he's most compatible with.

@jrock85: I look at it like this. He and Babs have known each other practically forever. From a very young age they were in and out of each other's pockets. They developed a close friendship, a close working relationship and a love. In my eyes, they're each other's perfect match and soul mates. However, everybody needs to leave the nest and branch out sooner or later and see other people. You can't be with just one person your whole life, you'll never know if it's true and will always be left to wonder "what if I had checked out other options, would I have found somebody better?". So to me, Starfire is him sowing his wild oats, checking out his other options and getting things out of his system and Babs is the one who he'll end up with in the end.

Yeah, I say this very spot-on.

Great list. Great picks.

We have a great many favorites in common.

I'm glad I'm not the only Barbara Gordon fan who likes Starfire.

@jrock85: Yes, me too. I noticed we both like Babs more than Kory, though.

Still not sure how that happens ;p

That's like those rare people who like both Jean and Emma.

I don't hate Jean...I just think the PF is a terrible plot device and that the best story with her that I read was the arc leading up to her death...

To be fair, I haven't read a lot of Jean, but as a hardcore Emma fan, there are a lot of aspects about Jean (and the more hardcore members of her fanbase, although I'm sure they'd say the same about me and Emma) that just really rub me the wrong way.

@The Dark Huntress:
I think hardcore Jean fans see Emma as a bona fide usurper and probably will never accept her relationship with Scott or her current standing amongst the X-Men. Unfortunately, they sometimes misplace their anger towards Emma's fans as well and vice versa. I'm a Jean fan, but I've never had a condescending attitude towards Emma fans. In fact, I realized that I don't actually hate the character; I just don't like the way she's portrayed at times.
