Odd but true. I am an asexual. So the basics, I do not like or want sex. I think actual sex is icky. I have always known in the sense that when everyone else was getting all hot and bothered over half nude people I was just sitting there wondering why. If you assumed I was gay, shame on you, gay is a self identity and no one has the right to ascribe that to anyone. However, this is where it gets interesting, I am biromantic. I like either gender (or the inbetweeners) just not really in the same way you would. I do leans more towards guys which is another issue all together. My idea of a loving relationship is more similar to what most would consider a really close friendship. Frequent Questions I have gotten
- Can you get a booner?
Simple answer is yes. An erection is a biological function. On a side note, I have been able to make that happen without any stimuli since I hit puberty, its not that hard to get one, you are not special.
- Can you have sex?
Um, yeah. I just don’t want to.
- Do you watch porn?

Not really. I have seen it because when I was still trying to figure out what I was and who I was I did look for something that seemed like what a normal boy would look for. But for me, I had one of those tilt-your-head-and-look-with-a-questioning-look moments. I was sitting there just thinking, “So that’s what you people do”. There was a huge disconnect between that and anything I would ever do.
- Have you ever dated someone?
Yeah, I had a long distance relationship with a friend from high school but I broke up with her during this past August. Outside of that, I don’t date.
- So does that me you do yourself?
Hahahahaha, yes it does.
No you idiot. I don’t “do myself” and no I won’t “create offspring by myself”. That is not exactly a real question and not exactly a funny joke either. It just comes across as moronic.
While not really a question more of a comment, most of the time, I don’t feel normal. While, no I don’t think about having sex all the time, I do get to think about other aspects of my lack of sexuality, usually, why? Another is will I be alone for the rest of my life because of this. Will I give in to the sexual advances of my partner just because I fear losing them if I don’t? So please, don’t tell me I’m lucky for not being sexual, it kind of pisses me off, that and telling me that it doesn’t exist.

I did get really offended in one of the Shatterstar forums. Considering I started one about the fact that he was originally created as an asexual character just to have some users try to correct me about my language. (MOTHER #$%%ER BIROMANTIC IS A GOD$%^& WORD! LEARN TO EFFEN READ WHAT YOU POST BEFORE YOU POST IT) many apologies, I lose my temper some times. The words we use when it comes to sexuality makes a big difference, that is why I got pissed every time someone said he was gay, especially when it was blown off as me “arguing about semantics,” yeah I’m going to argue when you are just blatantly wrong and not willing to correct yourself.
See, it did have a connection with Comic books.
So, If you have any questions, I will answer. I have no problem answering a question. And if you try to be a smart ass, I am fluent and will be able to create a nice retort.

Asexuality is the accepted term for lack of sexuality, the fact that you want to argue it just means you are not informed.
As pointed out, This is in the off topic section, meaning it does not have to do with comics. AND if you read the whole thing, which I doubt you did, it was related to comics in the sense that I included the part on Shatterstar.
