Today's Pull

Ok since I'v put all my DC/Marvel books on the back burner for a bit today's comic haul is decidedly different from my average pull. I haven't read any yet but I'm going to list them here and once I'm done reading I'm going to write a review for each. On my pull to day was:

Vertigo

  •   100 Bullets Vol 2 Split Second Chance: Ok I didn't actually pick this up today but I have order it. I became a fan of Brian Azzarelo after reading  Lex Luthor: Man of Steel  and  Joker which I both loved so with my love of the crime/noir genre and Billy Batson's recommendation I picked up Vol 1 and absolutely loved it, so now I've got to wait a few days to check out Vol 2.

  • American Vampire #23: Ok I haven't actually been reading this so I'm not sure if this is a great place to jump on but that's never usually bothered me before, if I feel lost at all I'll just skip back next time and get an earlier issue. With the Vampire character assassination going on in the world today I just really wanted to read some good old creepy evil Vampires and the fact this series  has great reviews means it's now on my pull.
 Top Cow/Image
  • Artifacts Origins: Well this is a usual pull for me. Top Cow is a great publisher and I'v been enjoying the Artifacts series very much and with the huge shake up currently going on in the TCU I'm exited to see how it progresses.

  • The Darkness #98: Jackie Estacdo is one BAMF but he's been having a few problems with the Darkness as of late. This is another regular of mine and as The Darkness 2 computer game is on the horizon it's getting me super exited about what's happening in this series.

 IDW

  • Transformers: Robots in Disguise #1:  This is the sister title to More Than Meets the Eye and with Optimus Prime gone and Rodimus and Drift setting off on the quest to find the Knights of Cybertron. Bumblebee has been left in charge of helping rebuild Cybertron but with the all the tension between Autobots, Decepticons and the Nails things are not looking good, not to mention Prowl is losing the plot.
 Boom Studios
  •   Key of Z #1: There's plenty of awesomeness coming out of Boom. I'm a huge fan of the Stan Lee Universe there and of course there's  Irredeemable and Incorruptible. So when I noticed Key of Z #4 was on sail today as it's a 5 issue mini I thought I'd go back to the start and check out issue 1.
 Dynamite
  • Kirby Genesis #5: Dynamite have been doing a great job with the Pulp heroes as of late with great book's coming out like  Green Hornet: Year One ,  The Last Phantom and  Lord Of The Jungle (awesome), I've really enjoyed all of these books but I have always seen the Kirby Genesis books but I didn't know what they would be like or if I would like them but amazingly for the last few weeks, to bring awareness to the series, Dynamite have been showing the first 4 issues for free right here on the Vine and I got to say I'v been liking what I'v seen so far,
So what do you think of my pull? Any likes or dislikes? Is there anything I should of picked up but didn't?

Damn I forgot the Walking Dead Vol12 and the Vertigo Encyclopaedia

It's called Key OF Z, and it's only 4 issues, not 5. Sorry, just figured I'd point that out. I've been wanting to check this one out since I'm a fan of Claudio Sanchez, but I figured I'd wait off til a trade is released since it's only 4 issues.

Oh it's only 4? I thought it was 5. Well I'll let you know what I think after I'v read it.

I actually am. I'm still enjoying some of the Dark DC so I decided to keep picking them up for the time being.
