Today's Pull #2

Ok so last week I posted a blog about the books I had pulled but not yet read so I thought I might make it a "thing" anyways here goes:

Vertigo

  • Y :The Last Man #1: Ok believe it or not but I've never actually read the full series, only a few issues here and there that my mates have. Criminal I know so this is me, starting far to late, from the begging.

  • Fables #1: Ok much the same as above except I did actually have the first to TPB but they where stole by some total funking douche, so I thought what the hell let's start again but with the issues

  • The Walking Dead Vol 12: I was a pretty late starter getting in to The Walking Dead so I've been playing catch up via trades, cant wait to rip in to the this one after Vol 11 cliffhanger . One of these day's I'll catch up so I can start getting the issues instead, one of these day's...

  • Invincible  #88: Well there is some crazy stuff going on in Invincible these day's and I'm not sure how it's going to turn out but Kirkman has my total trust.

  • Fatale #2: Brubaker is one of the best there is when it comes to crime/noir and I thought issue #1 was great. I mean you cant go wrong with mysterious  assassins and the occult.
IDW
  • Transformers: Autocracy #2: With my rediscovered love of all things Cybertron I'm really getting in to IDWs Transformers series. Autocracy is about how Orion Pax became Optimus Prime and how a robot known as Megatron went from fighting for justice to leading an insurrection that would destroy the very planet. As I'm playing War for Cyberton in preparation for the sequel that's coming out shortly this feel's like the perfect companion.

  • Infestation 2: Transformers: I got Infestion 2 #1 last week and I love the idea of an IDW crossover that includes Cthulhu, it's so crazy it just might work. Also Transformers

  • Rocketeer Adventures #1: I remember watching the Rocketeer as a kid and wishing I was that guy, he was my adolescent hero for a good long while and I he also sparked off a love affair with everything Pulp. I'm not sure what took me so long to pick this up but now that it's on my radar I'm going to read the hell out of it and grin the whole time.

Boom Studios
  • Key of Z #2: This mini has a cool take on your regular Zombie book that I wont spoil here encase you haven't read it. The characters are interesting, with one of the protagonist being a total BAMF, the art is also amazing.

  • Irredeemable #5: This and Incorruptible are the best (other than Invincible) are the best "super hero" books out there. Waid puts out quality every time this book hits the stores.

Dynamite

  • Project Superpowers #1: With Dynamite drawing my attention with all there quality pulp hero book's they have been putting out and now the Kirby Gen books I think it's about time I checked out one of there most criticality acclaimed books.
As usual leave a comment with your thoughts, what books do you like, what don't you like, what should I have checked out but never.
