I may need to start picking up Gen Hope again. If he's started writing her in that how he wrote her in that recent issue of Uncanny it may turn me back onto the character.

That issue was really just a Generation Hope issue. As an Uncanny Reader it didn't do much for me because I really have no interest in her or her croanies. That being said it was a solid issue, If he's writing Hope like that from here on out than I'm down to have her appear a bit more in Uncanny.

I actually didn't care for the Generation Hope series at first.  But the last few issues things have picked up significantly.   Can't quite put my finger on it, but if you haven't read the last three issues (6, 7, and 8) I'd recommend it...

I read it mostly to keep up with what the lights are doing. I don't really care that much for Hope.@The Dark Huntress said:

Is "interesting" a euphemism here?  LOL!   I hated the way she was so judgmental to Gabriel, and I hated how she described life to the baby-light that was trying to not be born... But as I thought about it, it actually fits quite perfectly with the way she was raised... The horrid beliefs that were forced upon her...  It makes sense.  It'll be nice to see her working through that...  The sad thing that came to mind is that, THIS, like many other X-Men stories is not a new thing.  It's recycled.  Just as the five "lights" are basically supposed to be based on the original X-Men team, Idie's story is very much like Rhane Sinclair's...

BTW, on a side note, I loved the interaction between her and Wolverine in Schism 1....

LOL!  You'd think!!!   But, the first thing that came to mind for me (after he sat down and joined her) was a story (it might have been a series, not sure) in which Logan is remembering his past and how Sabertooth always attacked him on his birthday, and how Sabertooth always tried to kill the women Logan loved... In one of those stories, Kitty gets tangled in the whole mess.  But the part that I thought of (regarding this) Is the part of the story where Kitty asked Logan to drive her and her friends to a concert in the Prof's Limo...   When Logan said no, Kitty asked, "Why not?"  He said something like, "Because you only come to me when you need something."   She thought a moment and replied, "Would you like me to come around just to spend time with you."   Logan was silent for a few seconds before finally replying, "No."  But you could tell he was lying...  She then decides to do something nice for him on his BIRTHDAY.  You can guess how THAT turned out.

Can i just ask, what was the point of asking "do you intend on bringing back any X-Men we haven't seen for a while? Possibly even Elixir, Havok, Rachel Summers, or Polaris?" when it's been made kind of clear that the majority of the characters listed are already coming back sometime soon?

You'd be shocked at how little others get their comics news form the net like us. I thought it was as common as breathing, then I started talking about upcoming moves with some friends of mine at my LCS and it was like I'm speaking Greek.
