@sethysquare:

No I didn't miss your post. I don't think the information in your post, although it was something I didn't know (since I was introduced to the character in Justice League animated) changes my opinion on Arrow. I want to see a charming, witty, and light hearted Oliver Queen but I'm open to give this a chance.

@Manarg: I always thought that when Talia said Bane loved her it meant a more platonic brotherly love. Since they met when she was still just a child and he was a grown man. It's probably more like the love between Alfred and Bruce or Bruce and Barbara (not the DCAU).

It's a bit sad to see that they're not going to portray Oliver as a witty charming character. But instead we get Batman-lite-but-kills. I always thought that was one of the defining features of Oliver, another rich guy who disciplined himself but he went through a different journey and hence ended up as someone a lot less bitter than Batman but effective in his own way.

This Oliver Queen seems to be a hard-core death stare looking killer, like Ryan Gosling from Drive. I'm just gonna have to give this a chance and be open to the reinterpretation, and see how it goes.

Hello Comicvine!

I was never a fan of Superman, but lately I've began to read about the origin of the character and what he represents in pop-culture and realize the potential he possesses. Stuff like Superior and Irredeemable presenting different iterations of the character really intrigued me and now I'm really interested in the live action adaptations. Man of Steel really got me interested so I decided to check out the old ones. I know the Christopher Reeve editions are meant to be the pen-ultimate Superman movies, the first two at least.

I checked out the first movie recently, and I thought Reeve was very charismatic but the plot itself wasn't that impressive. Now I'm up for Superman 2 but realized there are two different versions, Lester cut and Donner cut. Which version is regarded as superior or canon? Are they VERY different from one another?

@maxicere: @tonis: @Roxanne Starr: @ARMIV2: @MrDirector786:

Thank you all :)

I was working on a Power Girl piece and the outline sketches for inHuman but work got in the way. I'll post something again soon.

Edit: I just realized that I forgot to mention that inHuman is a horror comic book anthology written by Matt Garvey, a talented yet undiscovered writer. A few artists including myself are working on each chapter (me being the cover artist as well as the 4th chapter main artist).

@xerox_kitty: Thanks :). I'm sorry about that, it just came to me one day and I laughed out loud so I had to paint it. :P

Here's more :), didn't want to put it all in one post.

This is a sketch I did after studying Phil Noto's art style. I like the way he does noses.
Another sketch of a character called Felicity from a children book comic. Unfortunately the writer found another artist :(.
My most recent painting of Transonic/Laurie and Hope Summers from Generation Hope / X-men.

I'm trying to expand the content of my drawings. I'd like to draw more comic book characters and see how I reinterpret them. I hope you all like it, feel free to comment or even request something since I'm not entirely sure what I should try to tackle next.

Hello ComicVine!

Been lurking for a while but never posted. Decided to sign up and post some of my art since I've started to expand to do comic book stuff. From oldest to newest :)

The first four are portfolio pieces, more like concept art stuff. Just my own personal stuff.
