The first series I read through completely and I have to say I was not disappointed. To me, it was the right amount of sci-fi with the right amount of humor with the right amount of edge. This is my personal favorite series.
2. Y: The Last Man
This one was a breath of fresh air among the other books I've been reading. Right from the get-go you can tell it's going to be different, and it's beautifully so. Because of that, you get a very gripping story thats the right blend of seriousness and humor.
This one hooked me from the beginning. I love the tone of this book and how it takes a different angle at the whole superhero-esque book.
This is a very good series. It is one of the few fantasy books I have read and it is a very good one at that.
5. 100 Bullets
Honestly, this one confused me at first. I started reading it and had no idea where it was going, but then the pieces started falling into place. The complexity of the story is beautiful, the way the alternate stories get interwoven really lead up to a satisfying conclusion.
Another Series I had been recommended by the internet. It started out very interesting but then became really messed up to the point of almost gratuitous proportions. After powering through it though, I still feel that it was a good read.
7. Daredevil: The Man Without Fear
A great introduction story and a very good story by itself.
8. The Flash: Rebirth
A very cool story with great art, the only problem I had with it was a little bit of a lack of thorough background to truly appreciate the story.
9. Green Lantern: Rebirth
I liked this one, but it suffered in my eyes because I lacked the background to appreciate this arc. Still a very interesting read by itself, though
10. Plastic Man
This one was a fun little run that I got a lot of enjoyment from. The sheer goofiness was really refreshing. I also really enjoyed how they mixed up the part style as it was going through.
11. Gladstone's School for World Conquerors
I read this one on a whim and I really like where the story was taken. The perspective for me was a refreshing one but just felt short.
12. The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen
This was an OK series to me. I kind of enjoyed it, but what really kept me from truly enjoying it was that it just felt kind of muddy to me. There was no clear idea of where things were going and it felt almost cobbled together.
