I think seeing Heretic's face reminded Bruce of Damian and how Heretic is basically Damian if he was only raised by Talia with no good influences. Talia is more responsible for what has happened to Damian than Heretic. If they want they will figure out what continuity errors exist and try and fix them it's only natural if sometimes that happens. I think one more thing happens in the last issue that will be all over the Batman books.
I liked the movie but still it had a few problems that could have been solved just by thinking a little longer about the story. I am worried that just because it made so much money that the filmmakers do not pay attention to the criticisms. Some faults were overblown but still I would hope they try and improve the sequel.
Shame this series is ending Burnham could have written it. I get the sense that this book may feel like it is dragging to some because something big will happen in the last issue and this series and the rest of the Bat books need to get ready.
@foxxfireart: The first volume of Batman Inc before the reboot was intended to be more sexy and fun until Talia was revealed as the villain The New 52 version became the darkest part of Grant Morrison's Batman. I am sure this is not only being published to give Burnham more time to finish the last two issues but to be light hearted before the characters probably go away.
