Nu World 0

This comic is good and is worth a read. I personally haven't been a fan on Hickman's work on the FF overall, I liked a few story arcs but the other ones we just mediocre but that's my opinion. It was nice too see him bring back the Nu World which we saw way back in Mark Millar's run and it's nice to have a semi conclusion to these character's journey. This story is basically about Reed helping the characters from the Nu World get back to there time period using the dead carcase of Galactus who th...

TV vs. Cap (Not Literally) 0

I liked this issue and story so far and am going to be a bit upset when Brubaker leaves. I only wish he could have done his final story on his own as it would have been a more fitting end (but I don't know Marvels reasoning's). Eaton's art is also amazing and there is a lot going on image wise so that makes it better as more stuff means it's easier to get wrong.I like how we are seeing basically a revolt against Captain America a man who has been a patriotic symbol for the people who have turned...

Deadpool Kills 2

I'm not sure what too think on this series so far. It has been a little disappointing so far but this issue wasn't any worse than last so rated the same. I think Bunn has been a hot and cold writer so far as has he's tried his hand at most characters some are just not for him. This comic is basically the same as the last, Deadpool's other voice tells him too kill people and he does (without questioning). I did like how he took out most of the Avengers quick with a couple left. I also liked how he...

Batman and Robin's 0

This is a good issue even if the story overall has been a bit staggery in direction. I personally have been liking the direction (overall) that Tomasi has been taken and I also like Gleason's art.I like how this issue has a lot of action straight from the start. It's quite quick passed and I like how we see Batman dragged from his element and having to improvise and employ on the spot tactics to try and beat Terminus. I also really like how in the last few issues all the previous Robin's have be...

Illuminati 0

This has got to be one of the best New Avengers crossover for AvX so far if not the best crossover overall. I have to say I the thing that has made me like New Avengers more than the regular series so far is Deodato's art it's amazing and really works with most of the characters. Not a whole lot happens in this comic its mainly a throw back to the Illuminati series and has a similar feel except instead of deciding what should be done in the world they are sitting around feeling sorry for themselv...

Sad But True 0

It's sad but true that this story hasn't so far lived up too the great predecessor which is Evolution. I was originally really looking forward too this and forgave the first issue which I thought got a bit of a over slagging but this issue isn't any better and with only 2 issues too go I want it too finish so I can get back to a better story like the previous Dr Rot story.I liked too see the return of Romulus last issue as he was a good background villain and a lot more could be done with him bu...

The Thief is Back 0

I am not overly familiar with either James Asmus or Clay Mann besides knowing who they are but I think they have done a really good job with Gambit who recently has been a hard enough character for people to write in X comics let alone in a solo comic. I think Mann's art really suits Gambit and I can't think of any other people of the top of my head recently that have done him as good as this.I really like how Gambit went back to his roots in this comic as we've seen Gambit the X-Man for years n...

Sensational 0

This is the best issue of this series so far the only thing better than this issue was the last page of the previous issue. I have really liked this series so far and am happy and sad that it's only 5 issues happy cause 5 is a good number and means it doesn't land up turning into AvX which would have been a much more brilliant series if it was 6-8 issues long and I'm sad as it's near the end.I really liked this issue and as always I think Bendis writes Spider-Man very well whether he writes othe...

A New Take on Batman 11

After reading Superman: Earth One just over a year and a half ago I was really looking forward to the future of Earth One and when I hear that Batman was the next one to come out, and that Geoff Johns and Gary Frank were working on it I was counting down the days till it came out. I've always wanted to see how Johns would handle a Batman story as well, as after getting me back into Flash (Barry Allen), Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) and Aquaman, I'm sure he'd do a great job with the Caped Crusader.P...

Amazing! Literally 0

This film for me was the biggest surprise comic film wise this year as I wasn't expecting much after hearing a quick reboot straight on the announcement that the previous series was cancelled. I also thought that Andrew Garfield would be terrible as he was a lot older than meant too be was was very surprised me but I'll talk more on that latter.I unlike a lot of critics liked how they retold the origin as although we saw one only 10 years ago but this is a reboot so I personally class it differe...

Hulk Smash? 0

THERE ARE A FEW SPOILERS IN THIS BUT THE FILM HAS BEEN OUT A LITTLE WHILE.This is so far the best comic book film I have seen ever. I knew when Joss Whedon was directing he'd be the one too bring all the elements together in an epic film.I really liked even though most of the characters have had their solo films they have introduced them like they never had been but didn't drag it out by telling everything (actually their isn't much from previous films repeated) that happened in the previous fil...

Nite Owl & Rorschach 0

This has too be my favourite issue of Before The Watchmen so far and I really like how Andy Kubert's pencils work with Jo Kubert's inks (who's have thought). Staczynski is also back on for with this series after IMO a disappointing Supeman and Wonder Woman run. This issue sees Nite Owl and Rorschach team up initially chasing a bunch of thugs and stumbling in on a woman dominatrix and Rorschach lunges calling her a "slut" and "whore" Nite Owl throws Rorschach to one side and apologises to Rorschac...

Disappointing 0

I have been enjoying this series so far and love Garth Ennis' work, from Punisher to The Boys, but this issue was a slight let down for me and I was disappointed with it.The issue revolves mainly around two setting the Japanese general and how Cranston is going about in his normal life along side Margo Lane. There is a nice explosion at the end but it doesn't make up for the slow issue which we don't even see the Shadow. The best thing about it is the cover art from Alex Ross although he always ...

Superman vs Cyborg Superman 0

Smallville Season Eleven has been good so far as I was a bit disappointed when the TV series ended. I like how they keep Green Arrow in it and I'm even more excited to hear that next issue they will be adding Batman to the Smallville universe. I've got to say for a comic based of a TV series it's got good art work and that helps the comic allot.I like how it has a comic book writer who also wrote Smallville episodes in Bryan Q. Miller on board. The story has progressed quite well and in this iss...

International 0

I have been a fan of Batwing since the original Batman Inc and he was one of the best things too come out of that and Winick has expanded on him so much. The only thing I haven't liked about the series so far is the yoyoing of artists. although I like them I kinda loose interest in stories when its changing art. This issue was just above average you see Batwing this time with both Nightwing (like previous issue) and Justice League International fighting Lord Battle. It's a good battle but not the...

Doctor Superman 0

This has been a series I have been losing interest in it of it lately but now it's starting to slowly draw me back in. I love Morales art and will be sad when Morrison leaves. This issue is starting to make Action Comics good as its been hot and cold so far. I like how Superman learns how to operate on Lois so quickly and there is a pretty good fight between Superman and a mentally disturbed villain. We see the return of Clark Kent and Batman also makes a small appearance this issue.Final verdict...

Worlds' Average 1

This series hasn't been doing a lot so far IMO and I can't believe this has came out the good Huntress series and the brilliant Earth 2 series. What I liked about this issue is the art it's very good art although I proffered the art on Huntress this art is still very good. I also like the panel's when the gangsters think Huntress is a easy target then next panel you just see her sitting on a pile of people continuing to eat her ice cream . Although so far I haven't been majorly fond of this serie...

Enter the Atom 2

This series has stood out to me as I like the direction DC has went in putting the other Flash and Green Lantern in another universe so as not to confuse new readers. Besides that I think this works because it shrinks the size of each universe down making it feel less crowded and giving opportunity to shed some more light on lesser known characters. This issue is moving on brilliantly from previous issue with Hawkgirl and Flash fighting Grundy. I like how they have all came together at last and I...

What You Gonna Do When Cap Comes For You? 0

I have loved ultimate Spider-Man since way back when it started and it's been the only Ultimate comic I have never been upset at at any time where as Ultimate X-Men or Ultimate Avengers I have disliked at one point or another. I've got to say Bendis really knows how to write Spider-Man weather he is good or over hyped with other comics he knows how to write Spider-Man weather Peter Parker or Miles Moral. I also really like David Marquez's art work he will really be someone I will be look out for...

Nelson and Murdoch No More 0

I have really been enjoying what Mark Waid has been doing with Daredevil he has taken a character just after a dark period in his life and changed him in subtle ways. And I like Samnee's art hope he stay and they don't start shuffling artists like they've done with this series in the past and what's been happening with Punisher as well. This issue is great I liked how they sent Giant Man in to fight the nanobots. Not a great deal happens in this issue but it's been written so well and flows so sm...

Invincible 0

I have been enjoying Invincible Iron Man through it's ups and downs since issue 1 and I've got to say I will miss the creative team of Fraction and Larroca when the Marvel NOW! comes in.This issue is not the best Iron Man issue of this series but it's not the worst it's flowing on from the last issue nicely with Tony still under Mandrin's thumb having to do as he's told whilst plotting a retaliation in the background. I've got to say I never thought when starting this series you'd ever see Tony ...

Good Prelude 0

I'v got to say so far I've been disappointed with Detective Comics as Snyder finished the previous series of brilliantly and Daniel did a good job with his previous work on the normal Batman comic so I don't know why it just isn't working.I've got to say I'm happy that Daniel is also doing the art again and hope he continues as he does a lot better art anyway. The thing I also like about Batman since he's returned and the same with a lot of the comics they are using new or not as well known vill...

Bullseye Right on Target 0

This was the comic I was really looking forward too this week and I wasn't disappointed. It has great writing from Matt Fraction and even better art from David Aja. I really enjoyed there work along with Ed Brubaker on Immortal Iron Fist and I can see myself liking this series even more. This issue starts brilliantly with Hawkeye falling out of a window and breaking a lot off bones which shows how human limitation some superheroes actually have. I also like how we see a lot more of Clint in this ...

Not What I Thought It Would Be 0

I was really looking forward too this mini series as I love Deadpool and think he's underrated I also loved Punisher Kills The Marvel Universe. This fells like a typical Deadpool sitting on the fence you see some of each side of Deadpool but not really much of either (in this issue)I liked how you still had the split personality in his head and how he was still a kidder even if its not as much as we see other times. I'm not too sure what I think of the new third personality that replaces the oth...

Finally Getting Good 0

SPOILER WARNING: There is spoilers in this review.AvX is finally starting to get good. I liked how Panther decided to annul his marriage to Storm then latter fight along side. My favourite part of this is how Spider-Man using his mouth causes Colosus and Magik to take each other out although they could have shown them fight. The art was good I really like Kuberts work.My final verdict this is that AvX is a good concept and the overall story is good the main thing I think is that Marvel have been...

Flash the Bartender 0

I'm really liking what Francis Manapul is doing with Flash the now. I especially like how after faking that Barry Allen is dead he decides lets make him work for a Rouges bar. I like the typical way that Rouges will blame each other and fight over petty things. I am starting to become more and more intreaged each issue and hope it continues. I though Geoff Johns work was great but this is even better. The only thing although I like Marcus To's art I would like Manapul back as his is just immense...

Aquaman Finally a Great Comic 0

Since Geoff Johns has been writing Aquaman I have found a new respect for the character. I think he's got a great way of bring characters that have either not been around for a while (like he did for Hal in Green Lantern and Barry Allen in Flash) and people who have been sometimes considered a joke (like Aquaman) and make them great characters with great stories again so I don't understand why people are so critical saying he ruins characters.Anyway onto the issue I have to say I am really enjoy...
