This is a list of my favourite characters from manga or anime. I have been a fan of Manga, and Anime for a good few years now, ever since I found Death Note. I just love all the weird tales, and love that this unique form of story telling can have so much emotion in it, whist producing phenomenal stories.
Subject to change in case I feel I made a mistake, or change my mind.
Death Note is my favourite Manga/Anime of all time, and L is my favourite character. I liked that he was so mysterious, and I loved his detective skills. I was upset when he died, as Near wasn't the same.
Another Death Note character, this time the main character Light. Light is the character that drives the story, and although L is the most mysterious, Light's development as a character's probably the most interesting. I liked that he went from a character that only wanted to use the Death Note for good, to a character who was possessed with using it to protect, and aid himself.
My favoruite Anime at the moment is Bleach, and I have also enjoyed many of the Manga novels, so the main protagonist in that series Ichigo Kurosaki is next. I like that Ichigo isn't your smartest of characters, and that he can be a little hot headed at times. He is however still a very heroic character, and very loyal to his friends, and gets into some phenomenal adventures.
The Manga series that I'm enjoying the most at the moment is Blue Exorcist, and the main character Rin is probably the best. I liked the way he was introduced, and how that despite being the son of the Devil that he still wants to become an exorcist.
Another Bleach character, and this time Kisuke Urahara. If it wasn't for the fact that Ichigo appears in every volume, and episode of this series, and that Kisuke doesn't appear as often as others, he would probably be my favourite character in the series. I just love that he's fun, and weird, and that he pushes Ichigo to his limits, and has fun doing it. Kisuke is also a brilliant character emotion wise, as he can be Mr. Funny Guy one moment, and all serious the next.
