It's a Gabriele Dell'Otto painting, apparently on hold.  I'm not QUITE sure, but I think it's a little bit of homage to Tarantino's Inglorious Basterds

 I used to so look forward to Saturday mornings' because of this show.  My wife and I actually re-watched this entire series last year.
 
Any of you guys remember the FIRST X-Men animated pilot -- where Wolverine was Australian and called people "dingo's"?  Whoo-boy.  

Damn, I forgot how much I liked the emma frost and black widow experts -- that and the Fin Fang Foom were definitely my favorite to edit!   
 
I think I might pull back on the 3d stuff I've been doing recently, to go back to more of that style.

I kind of don't mind the idea of suits being introduced to match the theme of the arc (or the character) -- probably not a good thing to happen all the time.  But I definitely dig it being something they can match up to narratively every now and then.
