Green Lantern/Plastic Man: Weapons of Mass Deception

Alex Segura back at The Source has just announced DC's latest team-up:

Here’s the situation: There’s a cabal of aliens hiding in plain site on Earth, and they’re set on smuggling weapons off the planet to fuel an interplanetary conflict. Who’s around to save the day? Green Lantern. Good, right? And Plastic Man. Hm. Good luck, GL.

This special one-shot, featuring an untold tale of the DCU comes to us this December from writer Marv Wolfman and longtime ASTRO CITY artist Brent Anderson. We’ve got a first look at Anderson’s cover below.

What do you think? It looks interesting. Plastic Man has always been a minor DC character, but IMO he totally deserves more attention. He's one of those few characters that can make you laugh out loud when written properly.

Dunno if this is in or out continuity. By the looks of it, I'd say it's one of those stories that are in continuity, but happened in an unspecified time in the past. It's there, it happened, but it doesn't affect the current stories at all.

I would love to see more Plastic Man, The Kyle Baker series should be collected a reprinted.  It was such a good series.  Plastic Man is underrated.
