Tupac and Biggie aren't good enough to be G.O.A.T
Most of you people are judging by a few songs u know by Biggie and Pac and think you know their whole career  Tupac and Biggie aren't good enough to be G.O.A.T. Remember these are really the 2 rappers that brought hip-hop into the mainstream, Hip-Hop wasn't even as good as it was before these 2.
Vanilla Ice and MC Hammer were "mainstream." They were very commercial. But Pac and Biggie really showed the world on a mainstream level how artistic and meaningful hip-hop could be.
But they were bad rappers, or at least embarassing
They were bad, but at the time I don't think the world noticed. I wonder what artist in the future we will be ashamed of that we actually listen to now...

I know movies can never be like comic books in essence. Yet it's still painful to see some advertisement every few months promising a recycle of the same dull archetypal super hero wrapped in superficial flash. Movies seem only to blunt the perceptual quality of what a comic book is meant to express. And yet there is this perpetual demand for it, all the while true fans appear to be a mostly dying breed in todays world. On a side note, I am new to this forum and was unsure what to expect. I didn't want to sound too nerdy by voicing my 'dismay' about the movies...but after reading some of the comments on this site, I feel I can rant about this without being teased or looked at funny.  Long live comic book fans.
Well that's what people want I guess, we read Comics for fiction not for real-world.

This is a very, very mature blog topic, HexThis. I instantly got interested when I saw the title as it is something I have looked down on for a long time.
I'll be entirely honest in my opinion.

I am a 20 year old male, soon to be 21. Now, I understand why men may find images of women being humiliated or beaten, particularly the gorgeous ones, as arousing and/or satisfying. I find it disgusting, horrendous and outright unethical, but I also can understand why men act like that. I believe it comes from the inner insecurity of men being unable to cope with the spotlight being taken off them and given to women. Men prefer to be the alpha male, to be the dominant species, so when a chance to view material that degrades women appears, it's feeding the insecurities of the men who watch it.

I've read some studies, and one particularly interesting blog post I read on a professional relationship counselor's website was that, men who commit rape, abuse and/or any type of humiliation to women often have their own past riddled with rejection. For instance, a man might have been refused or ignored by a gorgeous girl in school, thus debilitating his courage and self-esteem. When he then exposes himself to those sorts of images, his insecurities are ... let's say ... temporarily forgotten or masked by the outside sensory images.

That may not be the absolute truth, but it makes a fair amount of sense. I, personally, find no amusement or appeal in degrading pictures of women, but that could be because I've been raised in a way to respect women as equal human beings. All in all, it's like Aiden Cross said, there are some seriously messed up people on the internet, and even more out there in the world. The only way an issue like this can be improved is by the continuing representation of strong, independent and powerful female characters in all forms of media. Television, film, literature and artwork. If that continues, eventually those who disrespect and humiliate women will be weeded out from the ever-growing crowd of people who treat women as they should be.
Ur statement makes sense.

And I don't think th e person who put up those vids were trying to be sexist, when women superheroes die they usually have deep moments in cartoons, again its the internet, dont take it seriously.

No Superman would look a little bit weird in armor, Also he doesn't need it, if it protects him form Krypotnite, it will just make him into more of a god.
