I wouldn't think that the energies are even the same and the Death Star beam would go right through their ki. Double KO at the least.
I think even Krillin could destroy it with his kamehameha, at least providing that the shields were down (if we are talking about ROTJ Death Star). I think of it this way, the reason the rebels couldn't destroy the Death Star is they simply didn't have the firepower. Could another Death Star destroy the Death Star? Absolutely. It could destroy a planet. Without a shield, the Death Star is just a massive, moon sized spaceship.
Picollo destroyed the moon with an energy attack far below even the kamehamehas of the Frieza saga. As always, it's debatable that a kamehameha could even destroy a planet, since it never happened. They have claimed many times that they could, even at low power levels Vegeta was going to destroy the Earth, or so he claimed.
So, I'll say yes. In the same breath I will say that the Death Star could easily kill anyone in DBZ with a direct hit as well.
End nerdiest thing I'll talk about this week....
Anyway, thanks for the info. Sounds like Marvel just doesn't want ROM, probably because the interest isn't there for the fans. The cosmic fans are few.... :(
Is that the reason he isn't used? I thought he was dead.
I've never seen anything claiming Marvel didn't have the rights. After all, Hasbro only made the toy. Marvel Comics made the entire character and story behind the toy, something I'm sure they could surely use to claim the character as equally theirs as well. Maybe they don't want to split any profits?
Any info you could provide would be interesting on any legal information.
I'll respond here again for others to see.
I think so. Sure, the story takes place directly after the Thanos Imperative, but has little to do with that story. There is also brief getting to know you stuff at the beginning, but nothing boring, all part of the story. This one is unique as it's own story, only 4 issues long, the only thing in common with all the precious cosmic arcs is that the universe needs to be saved....again.
There is also a additional story in the back with Rocket Raccoon and Groot. This will be a fan service, so new readers may or may not like the characters as much as those who know them. I'm pretty sure it is still set up at the start of the story to provide info for new readers.
