I did these at the beginning of Brightest Day,(which apparantly will mean nothing with this stupid reboot. Sorry for the rant.) with no reference. I penciled the first one, copied it, inked the second one just with a sharpie, copied it, then colored it with colored pencils and markers on the edges.
Great. All the stories I've been reading since I was 5 will no longer mean anything.
I was excited when I saw that new Justice League and even the new costumes, but c'mon you can't just blow away 75 years worth of history.
This just makes me so mad. I was really looking forward to the new Justice League, but seriously why do the look like they're all 18. I'm only 14 but I want an experinced Superman, not a newbie.
I'm pretty sure this ruined my day( possibly life). Especially since I don't like Marvel as much, and DC was my favorite. O well, that is enough ranting for today.
Thanks once again. I did Pariah when I first got that sketchbook, so that is my first real sketch. Unfortunately, I'm not very good at drawing without a reference. As you can see all of these have a "Based On:" above it. I look at a picture and then draw that. Haha
Jay was the original and I like him a lot. Barry is a classic, but I think they really ruined it when they brought him back from the dead, unfortuantely Hals rebirth was much more meaningful. Wally just has a great character and I grew up with him, although I still read a lot more of the 70s and 80's comics then ,and not 90's.( I'm 15)
