 So here's the deal, I was assigned a research paper today that has to be based off an American Author and their top 3 influences that can also be found in their work. I had the thought of Stan Lee. Everyone else is doing authors of books we read in class like Steinbeck or Scott Fitzgerald so I want to do something different and unique so who better to do than Stan the man Lee?


Only thing is I'm stuck right now. I need historical and textual facts/evidence of the authors influenced and I can't seem to find anything about Stan's influences. So I'm asking for help here...

Is doing Stan a good idea, or should I just do someone like Hawthorne?

Can't wait for the movie! And the continuation of the comic!

Cool thanks because I'm at 26 of "The immortal Iron fist" right now and I don't know if I can be able to find all 25 comics xD

I recently started reading comics a few months ago. I grew up watching animated shows of "The Amazing Spiderman" , "Batman" ,and ect. I recently got into reading comics because my parents finally let me spend my own money and are willing to drive me to stores from time to time because I don't live anywhere near a comic store. Because of my lack of comic knoledge I have been spending time reading up on past events and stuff. I mainly stick with Marvel or Image and I love independent comics. I'm 15 right now and hopefully I can last with getting driven to stores until I can drive myself! Woo Comics!

I'm kinda new to comics so I'm just wondering if you were to pick up a comic midway should you try to look for the first ones or just continue with the arc or story from what you have? I'm wondering because I'm interested in following the "Invincible" comic from Image, also I have punisher 6 and ect. So what do you guys do? Go on from what you have or try to get the beginning issues?

1. Chinese Moon Spade (2 ends for dual use, length useful too)
2. Sledge Hammer (weapon, can also be used to break down locked doors, ect.)
3. Shovel (Digging traps, trenches, ect.)
4. Matches (burn bodies)
5. Shotgun (last ditch weapon due to limited ammo)

hehe
