JediXMan's List of Epicness

This is a list of comics that, in my opinion, were amazingly epic in their stories and are essential for understanding DC. DC, unlike Marvel, has a much deeper history. You need to read some previous stories to understand current ones. That is why I like DC. This is in chronological order.

PS: This list doesn't include them, but by listing the events I include the tie-ins.

There are quite a few big comics I could suggest for this. Big Crossover ones.

Like what? I thought of adding Zero Hour, as well. I mentioned these comics because I saw them as extremely important to DC continuity.

Zero Hour is very important for the 31st century. Tieing up all the loose ends.
They may not be AS important as the ones you listed. But they are either build ups or Aftermaths.
Crisis aftermaths

Build up to Infinite Crisis
  • Day of Vengeance
  • Rahn/Thangar War
  • OMAC Project
  • Villains United

Infinite Crisis aftermaths

Batman R.I.P which links into Final Crisis then Batman: Return of Bruce Wayne maybe?

I wasn't including tie-in titles like Day of Vengeance. Return of Bruce Wayne is mostly Batman centric, while SCW, Blackest Night, and Brightest Day had a greater impact on the universe as a whole.

I don't know much about those other titles, though.

This is of epicness? You didn't give a reason - except the first one- to read it. Maybe it's just me but I like a list where the creator of the list explain , why he enjoyed it or why he recommends it

I said it's epic. What more do I need to explain?
