I do know that in some states if someone who is HIV-positive purposely spits on or bites another person it can be classified as assault with a deadly weapon. Hell, in Texas I remember in the news there was a HIV-positive guy who bit someone and was charged with something like bioterrorism.

I'm torn about this. It should have consequences however HIV is because of todays medicine not lethal so attempting murder is kind of out of the picture. More like making the rest of your life complicated.

That is really stupid the amount of spit you need to get HIV is so huge that it is practical impossible.

i believe in some states there is a law that says a hiv possitive person must inform there parter and if they dont they can indeed be charged with a crime if that person has unprotected sex with the disese. i forget wich states atm
